@Markus00095 I asked because I saw someone asked and you post a vid.
I know Saturn is a hardware hard to emu and it needs a powerful machine but maybe some of the Sega Ages Sega released had some kind of emu. Thanks
@notnotzecoxao@LightningMods_ LM did NOT request this, and he is NOT porting byepervisor, nor would it "increase cover of etaHEN"..
I just spoke with him since it was obvious bullshit.
You can still support his work though.
ok, so my friend @LightningMods_ needs a devkit ps5 to increase cover of etaHEN. also this will make him be able to port byepervisor to devkit ps5 faster. if you can, please support him at his paypal ssss@darksoftware.xyz
>buy new USB-C cable
>ask the manufacturer if it's for data or just power
>they don't understand
>pull out full illustrated diagram explaining the difference between USB3.0-capable data and just power
>they laugh and say "it's a good cable, ma'am"
>plug the capture card in
>USB 2
The 'libhijacker' is a valid (albeit partial) method towards running homebrew, you'll have to be patient as usual, until someone completes big-app support. This is the next step to launch something useful (actual 'homebrew' as you know it on ps4).
@kd_tech_@frwololo@notnotzecoxao Sure, was a bit vague, I meant people have known how to dump the binaries for months.. decrypt them for some time too. However it's pointless as setting up a new process for homebrew is one thing, getting "fpkg" working without patching is unlikely.
@frwololo@Znullptr@notnotzecoxao Dumping game files has been possible for months, not sure if zeco means decrypting executables but the game files itself have been dumped
@vxunderground Free Shipping: There's not much left after shipping $ there. Even an envelope is >= $5 these days. Then ebay charges 14% markup, so he can't be making _anything_.
Big shoutout to "Steph441" for selling Black Mass Volume 1 for $14.98 on Ebay.
We sell it on Amazon for $8.
It is nice of you to scalp us, while we make almost zero money.
@Valery0p5@frwololo This is not correct, 'emunand' requires you to have control of execution and patch. If you're talking about about a flashcart for 3ds: this is not the same thing.
@frwololo More so, emunand is especially useful in cases like this where you don't have full control of the boot process, like back in the Gateway 3ds days.
@Valery0p5@frwololo@PlayStationHaX It's very simple, asymmetric encryption. Without signing keys, you can't create custom firmware: you'd need a modchip to glitch the [early version of] amd-sp or to have some other means to take control of it (from southbridge?) before the apu is boot.
@NSTG_official@crump_youtube@SpecterDev You having it does nothing for us, like the 30+ people in my inbox offering to 'test': we have no such need currently.
As previously mentioned... I have a PS5 on 1.02... MORE than happy to use it to test things for devs. I have a Blu-ray drive. I have MacOS, Windows and Linux. Just need a task. Know a dev who may find it useful, tag them :) been here to help this whole time, nothing's changed.
Everyone has been upset about lack of updates.
I get it. however there is no straightforward solution..
While others have been looking into full control of the PS5. I have worked on a solution that will allow 'some' progress now. A real process for homebrew.
More updates soon.
