Overwhelmed maybe, but she quickly learned how to discipline us right, and I am so glad she did, otherwise I'd be as blind as you. But about what you said.. Aren't you lazy not doing anything?

Its not "justifying violence" when discipline has been around for thousands of years. And works WHEN done right. Not abusively.

The kid DID do wrong. Abuse is you hit your kid just because. No reason, the kid didnt do anything wrong, you just do it.

@Geniustechw I kid you not, if that was me, she would say "Oh- youre gonna scream!? Ok, do it :)" One time I did test her and had a tantrum in the store. SHE CRIED AND KICKED AND WHINED more than I did to a point where I got embarrassed. Never did it again.
