Support is not so hard of a role to not be capable of playing most of the cast competently

It’s funny that RE purists will say that RE2 and 3 Remake removing the fixed camera angles is anti art, disrespect to the original devs and that it takes away from the experience, but then will clap like sea lions when someone does this

@tonestirade As someone who very recently played RE5 for the first time and knew very little of it I found that the town/other parts were fine but the Marshlands sections did feel very insensitive/stereotypical I still loved the game but that part really did stand out to me as a fault

well meaning or not, RE5 is racially insensitive.

hi, wokest person alive here. i don’t think re5 is racist, i think a lot of people just didn’t read the documents. the game is explicitly an allegory about how big western corporations will invade tribes and displace people from smaller countries out of their homes.

@DeadlockAnon You’re not forced to ever play a game if you don’t have the mental to not crash out and give up at minute 10 then you shouldn’t be playing a competitive game. Deadlock is never over at minute 10 dozens of games that seem lost turn around if you don’t give up and try to win

@Matty_OW Giving people a easy way out inherently makes a game more toxic and a game thats fairly complex like Deadlock relies on you being smart and finding ways to get ahead.
A FF option would make it so every bad scenario no matter how slight would turn into a FF or I afk

@GENCZILLA Im not a fan of saying "need" because honestly 99.999% of games dont need a remake but while I dont think RE1 needs a remake right now but I do think having one with the new gameplay style would be fun and as long as all the remaster is still able to be bought theres no real harm

@fumikoded This isnt like Skyrim where they are just releasing a slightly better looking version again and again aside from like how rushed RE3 remake was the games are pretty solid with the only true issue with the remakes being how the older versions arent as accessible as they should be

@fumikoded Except it isnt the same thing over and over. Aside from the baseline story the gameplay is fairly different and thats exactly why people want to see more remakes. Being able to experience 2 different versions of a game is completely fine and people shouldnt be shit on for it

Yes. It could use another remake. That doesnt take away from how awesome the original remake is. But that original remake does not fit with the newer generation of RE Remakes, both terms of gameplay and graphical style.
