@ScottPresler With reconciliation, Republicans have plenty of leverage to stop a filibuster on SAVE. Either stop filibusting or Rs create a reconciliation package that will make Ds heads spin. It's called politics.

If our Republican Senate is unable to pass legislation that 84% of Americans agree on, then nothing is going to get done. There is no legislation that is as popular & widely supported as the SAVE America Act.

.@BasedMikeLee is exactly right. The SAVE America Act is a policy; it is not budgetary. And even if Republicans attempted to make it budgetary, the Senate parliamentarian would surely strip it out. The best chance we have at passing the SAVE America Act is if the Senate continues debating it for as long as it takes to pass!

@glennbeck In 1988, during a filibuster on campaign finance reform, Democratic Majority Leader Robert Byrd obtained an order to arrest absent Republicans. Target Democrats to be there for their filibuster to maintain the quorum.
