Finally got to build this. Create animations that use Core Animation on iOS and Animator on Android with zero JS overhead. Same animation. But one keeps running smoothly even when the UI thread is lagging. Introducing react-native-ease 🍃

Preparing a bigger release for Unistyles (3.1.0). From now on react-native-edge-to-edge is optional. This aligns with Expo SDK 54's transition away from this dependency in favor of React Native's built-in `enableEdgeToEdge` Gradle property. github.com/jpudysz/react-…

@jpudysz My recommendation would be to push for using the `edgeToEdgeEnabled` property: it enforces statusBarTranslucent / navigationBarTranslucent on modals, it disables backgroundColor / translucent on StatusBar, and I have other fixes coming to react-native core relying on it.

@zoontek Actually it was enabled since Unistyles 2.0 😅 I guess this algorithm gonna work

@jpudysz If users are enabling edge-to-edge via unistyles instead of edgeToEdgeEnabled, this means they will not get those fixes (and everything that relies on isEdgeToEdgeFeatureFlagOn): github.com/facebook/react…

@jpudysz Why enabling it on your side? You could require react-native-is-edge-to-edge (the small detection lib) conditionally in __DEV__ to check if either react-native-edge-to-edge or edgeToEdgeEnabled is true.
