So I made the mistake of quote tweeting a nazi complaining they’re on my timeline instead of just screenshotting it. I stand by what I said but I rather not have my online persona affiliated with that. I’m going to delete everything related to it and hide my account for a bit.

@MerloDieg A settlement created in the 1820’s with the sole purpose to strengthen Argentine claims which at that point was legally British. Also only the governor was removed from his position the settlers were allowed to stay.

@KevinM_YGO @celestiumart Ok I think we are talking past each other. This isn’t a proper before-and-after study. “After referral” doesn’t mean after treatment, and it doesn’t isolate the same individuals under controlled conditions so it can’t show whether gender-affirming care works.

I’m going to be honest this conversation didn’t frustrate me as much as it broke my heart. The state of humanity is so shattered that men feel like they have to cut off parts of themselves and add toxins into their body to become something they’re not. Yet that all of a sudden makes them a “woman”. I’m not transphobic because I point out the fact that trans people try really hard to look like the opposite sex. It isn’t healthcare, it’s delusion sold to you as the panacea for your problems. Then you have the audacity to come in and tell real women what a woman is when you couldn’t even accept yourself. God made you and you let the world take that from you.

Trans people might get a form of gender affirming care that involves them getting a Mastectomy, a phallopasty, a vaginoplasty, etc. Not all dinner firming care requires surgery. Trans men and women are men and women. Stop ignoring science

@KevinM_YGO @celestiumart So you only read the overview? They already had much higher distress before treatment. Saying it’s still high later doesn’t prove treatment failed it just shows they started worse. There’s no treated vs untreated comparison here.

@KevinM_YGO @celestiumart Did you read your own article you sent? This study doesn’t test whether gender-affirming care works. It just shows trans youth have worse mental health than cis youth (which we already know). There’s no comparison of treated vs untreated groups.
