Baal just means lord, and there were many Baals, most of them patrons of cities. YHWH means "I AM", which is a rejection of their paganism.

Aunque esto se debe más bien a que los apellidos en ciertos lugares estaban más relacionados con la casa o valle en el que se vivía que con la ascendencia.

Creo que nos confundimos mucho con la Antigua.
Se creó como villa en 1786 y tuvo alcalde hasta 1799. Todavía no cumplen con la orden de adoptar su escudo propio; siguen usando el de la ciudad de Guatemala sin que este les corresponda por derecho.
