@andy_matuschak This is weird to me because growing up I've had 1:3 or 1:4 piano lessons, and have had 1:1 (math) tutors 😆. Not saying this is most effective, but 1:1 piano lessons likely would have been less fun.

A provocation I'm liking: most piano students have a 1:1 tutor; few math students (say, undergrads majoring in math) have a 1:1 tutor. Lots of work is predicated on the latter being intractable ("must find some way to make group instruction as good as 1:1!"). Why the difference?

I would like to better clarify the set my variables belong to so that the system can more precisely perform (or not) such transformations.

All computer algebra systems I know perform transformations like x/x = 1, which are mostly right but possibly incorrect for sets of measure zero (e.g. this is incorrect at x = 0). Does anyone know of smarter systems?

@cleanmymac @herf Spammed requests are coming from agents "?" (b/c of nuked Info.plist) and "1.19.1" (not an official released version of Sparkle; this is embedded in your Sparkle's LC_ID_DYLIB cmd in the binary)

@cleanmymac @herf CleanMyMac clearly created a forked version of Sparkle so likely there's some bugs in its usage somehow. Perhaps unrelatedly the Info.plist files in Sparkle in your app are almost completely nuked which seems like a bad thing to do in general.

f.lux servers are having a minor DDoS (mitigated) due to what we suspect may be @cleanmymac using an older version of the Sparkle updater software. Asking them to fix! 1/n
