Today's a good day to announce that I've moved back to where it all began, Sky Mavis HQ in Vietnam. The move will allow me to be more hands on and help expedite our efforts as we enter a pivotal period for Axie and Ronin. • We have a the Axie MMO's next playtest coming up ,terrariums, and bAXS deployment three key milestones to ensure a brighter future for Axie. • Ronin is getting ready to migrate to Ethereum, with the recent tesnet migration complete. The migration will also feature a tokenomics overhaul. More on this soon. • Ronin's content is coming into its own. As the dust settles, it's become clear that the most interesting experiments in digital economies are happening on Ronin. Recently we've seen many L2s and L1s releasing mainnets to crickets and low adoption. Content is king and this is a key strength for us to leverage moving forward. Ronin's strategy has always been app-centric and focused on building net new things that the world has never seen. The current generation of winners on Ronin reflects this. • We're also working on some experimental new products aimed at bringing the benefits of blockchain to new audiences, beyond the existing Ronin/crypto community. Onward.

@cagyjan1 Anyone who’s engaged with the Bisonic team saw this coming a while ago Insane egotism around that team, many “industry veterans” with no clue what actually drives sustainable games. Sad but inevitable. Was always just another gig to that dev team.

We’ve officially hit the point where we can’t stop playing our own game. Didn’t expect that to become a development risk.

Again the reason most fail to make money here is they get less active and less hungry during times like this. Your profits in good times come from what you did in the bad times.

League of legends has nothing to do with Web3. People are not downloading League of Legends to wonder, "what am I getting out of this?" Which is a very natural question someone should ask themselves when they need to download a wallet in order to fully play a Web3 game. Web2 is already massively overexposed with quality games that are F2P. Why compete when it can simply be different? My core argument is that there IS and always has been a strong market for gamers who are willing to pay to play what they enjoy. The entry for Axie was even easier, simply find a payer, like a blockbuster rental, and use theirs. I am sick of F2P. It's made many games take a big step backwards. Let's try innovating

@ZoserRON You confusing the TAM for electronics and games with the TAM for web3 gamers. One dwarfs the other. Is League of Legends psychologically devalued relative to Sniper Elite or Ace Combat?

Hot Take: Stop making Web3 games F2P? I like the idea of having to be invested in the game to play, or, be connected to an invested user who delegates you to play. Worked for Axie which got more users than any Web3 game in history. Isn't this the USP of Web3? What am I missing?

@itshugoa Never gated people from buying Gameboys and switches. If something is good enough, people will save money for it and prioritize it. If it's free it psychologically devalues it.

@ZoserRON This further gates an already small total addressable market when narrative for games is already rock bottom. Maybe in the future, who knows.

@metamori So are the most unpopular and dead ones as well, probably at a ratio of 1,000:1. For many years everyone bought and played console games. Forced the developers to actually deliver a good product or they got no players or money.
