Malaria remains a major health challenge across the Sahel. This #WorldMalariaDay, under the theme “Driven to End Malaria: Now We Can. Now We Must,” we celebrate the incredible work of Red Cross volunteers working alongside health workers to help eliminate malaria. At the heart of the response, they deliver life-saving messages, promote the proper use of bed nets, support early detection, and ensure children aged 3–59 months receive essential malaria prevention and treatment.
