If anyone wonders. Faine is an old spelling of current day Fane and Fain. Fane means Sacred place/Temple. Fain means Happy/Pleased (Can also mean Eager). The name I decided to adopt and hope to make my legal name means, Happy/Pleased Sacred place.

The Texas Supreme Court just ruled Ken Paxton can demand records from PFLAG with only a “reasonable belief” a law might be violated — no actual evidence required. PFLAG isn’t a clinic. They don’t provide medical care. They’re a support group for LGBTQ people and their families. I went to meetings early in my transition when I was scared of being outed. Places like that only work if people trust their privacy is protected. Letting the government dig through those conversations is a dangerous precedent, no matter where you stand on trans issues.
