The EF, folks like Leo Sprueth and the founder success and application support teams, have been incredibly helpful. They’ve made vital connections, and supported every reasonable ask I’ve made to them. They’ve made it a point to support those working on new categories that aren’t already established in Ethereum.

I think one of the biggest issues with Ethereum culture is the lack of support for independent developers building cool ass shit. Over the past ~2 years, Ethereum culture was captured by the institutions and now the only things .eth’s care about are stuff like stablecoins and which bank is gonna deploy an L2 next. In doing so, Etheruem lost touch with what made it so great in the first place. Take @ZAMM_DEFI by @z0r0zzz. He built an entirely new token standard (ERC-6909) and the most gas-efficient DEX on Ethereum all by himself. He’s seemingly had no public support from the @ethereumfndn, the high priests of Ethereum, or any funds that supposedly care about the future of Ethereum. Why would anyone try to build a unique and new project on Ethereum if it will almost surely be met with apathy by the community?
