Hello Everyone! Here are a few things about me and my beliefs: - I am a Christian (Protestant). My beliefs are based only off Scripture. I am still reading through the Bible. - I love apologetics. I also love Bible history and am currently learning Hebrew. Biblical Greek is next. - I am a mother to an autistic child, and I strongly believe in protecting and helping the disabled, and families of disabled children. - The wiser I have become in the Lord, the more I see the importance of His design for us. I do believe we have roles and the more we pull away from His design, the more sin, decline, and cultural decay we see. - Nobody is perfect and I believe in forgiveness. That is one of the best ways to defeat the devil. - It is better to be authentic and wrong than to fake perfection. Mistakes are part of learning. - I am an independent, and claim my identity through no one but Christ Jesus. - I believe in telling the truth. I believe in authenticity. Jesus did not sugarcoat. Tell people what they need to hear. Do not tickle their ears. - I know that we are experiencing cultural decline, decay, and societal rot. I believe in addressing it and calling it out so we can rebuild society, the family, and make excellence our standard, as it once was. - No excuses. Self-respect shows reverence to the Lord. - I am on a journey to learn all I can about the Lord, the Bible, and to take care of all the responsibilities he has blessed me with, including my health. I want to encourage others to do the same. - Protect your mind and guard your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. - Do not worry about anything. Whatever you are worrying about, those things will eventually perish with this world. So make the most of your time now, and use it wisely. Use that time to invest in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, because He is eternal.

@MikeWingerii Same reason the dog is attacking in the first place: irresponsible owners. They like to take a strong working-breed animal and make it their cute little pet inside of their tiny studio apartment.

Why is it that when someone or another animal is being attacked by a dog the owner of the aggressive dog will so often just stand there and watch? Can someone explain?

God made sure His Word survived so it could get to you.

God is good. There are no two ways about it. Romans 8:28: “We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God who are called according to his purpose.” Do not worry. God always has a plan and He will always work it out.

Man the Holy Spirit will have you studying and suddenly you start seeing things you know you didn't come up with on your own. I was reading Revelation 13 about the number of the beast and I felt led to look up every scripture that matched that "666" pattern. Either chapter 6 verse 66 or chapter 66 verse 6. There are only three in the entire Bible! The first one was John 6:66 It literally says many disciples walked away from Jesus because His teaching required full surrender. 😱 That is exactly

@ZuzzyFluff @TerriGreenUSA While I don’t necessarily disagree, remember that there’s no personal pronouns of ‘he’ in the Greek text. It’s neutral grammar meaning, ‘it will come, it will guide, etc. in the original language, the Spirit is personal, but not a person.

Jesus also said go and make disciples of all nations. If we consider that we are disciples, and the Word does not change just because society does, who do we rely on to decipher the meaning of the Word for us in today’s times? The Helper. So the Holy Spirit interprets the Word for us. 1 Corinthians 2:14, Paul talks about the natural man not being able to understand the Spirit of God, because they are not spiritually discerned (paraphrasing here). What is Paul saying? I believe he is saying that the Holy Spirit is where we get spiritual discernment, aligning with what Jesus said in John 16.

@ZuzzyFluff @TerriGreenUSA This is Jesus speaking to the Apostles. The Apostles that received the baptism of the Holy Spirit which gave them miraculous abilities in order to confirm the Word. We have the complete Word today so to say that the Spirit is speaking in part from the Word is denying the Word.

Yes 🙌 This is what we should remember, in light of all the videos of people fighting, arguing, etc… do not be like those people you see. Be the way God wants you to be. Also, read Proverbs 27:1-2.
