There is no obvious reason a court would decline to grant one, absent an unusually unfavorable draw on the judge. The facts may differ, and I do not know whether OH was explicitly told he would receive a medical redshirt the way Chambliss says he was. But unless he has already decided to move on to the NFL, there is little downside to at least making the attempt.

NEWS: Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss has been granted a sixth season of eligibility by a state court judge in Mississippi. Chambliss received an injunction today, which paves the way for him to play in 2026 after the NCAA ruled he was eligibility. (The NCAA can appeal.)

I’m well aware by now that most people dislike this weather, but I love it so much.
30 years from now when every team is playing in a dome, we’ll look back at this through a nostalgic lens and wonder why we ever got rid of it.
