@jilikxt Either your appeal or attitude have a problem.
Or both.
Hang in there, sis.
English

@chezlabeille Oh... that is hard. Safe to say that agents are the anchors.
Respect for Ms. Natalie.
On another note, what do you mean by EYFS, Chel?
English

@ZyvinL @Nattykbrown Most publishers don't accept unsolicited subs. Without an agent you have no access point. So yes. It is.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom I can tell you I don't have money, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you buy my book, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you, but if you pirate it, I will look for you, I will find you and I will write a really shitty story and make you the villain of it.
English

@whataimeereads_ Because you're a friend? And I want a writing buddy.
English

@bookishmoons I have a romantasy concept titled Serenade of Scales. It's a dragonman paladin x gorgon sorceress slice-of-life story.
I have only the vision but no substance.
English

@realevelyncross Oh... that is messed up. Human decency is dead, I guess?
Personally, I don't know this man, but I feel his death is unfair. I believe he's a good man gone too soon.
English

People are using certain verses and certain things he said to mock his death and I just felt it was important to inform these people that the Bible says more than just what they're choosing to say. "Love thy neighbor" "everything happens for a reason" "he deserved it for spewing hate" when really all he did was tell people what the Bible said, why HE felt it was wrong, why these were HIS beliefs and some people are now taking it out of context and using it as way to mock his passing
English

“Love thy neighbor.”
This line has been going around, being used to crack jokes. This will probably be the last post I make on this, because there’s only so much that can be said.
Charlie wasn’t perfect, that much is true. But then again, none of us are (Romans 3:23). Like all of us, he had his flaws.
Some say, “He was spewing hate.” Wrong again. Others claim, “He hated gay people.” No. Charlie didn’t hate you. He disagreed with the lifestyle. He hated the sin, but he cared about the person and wanted to offer help (Jude 1:22–23).
You can’t pick and choose which parts of the Bible to use just to push a narrative (2 Timothy 3:16).
Jesus never hated the thief, and He never hated the prostitute. He hated the sins they committed, but He still loved them and offered forgiveness (John 8:3–11; Luke 23:39–43).
I’m not an expert on this subject, but I know enough to say this: You are created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27), and your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19–20). By mutilating the temple or trying to change His image, you are sinning.
At the same time, by judging me, by judging others, and by judging him, you are also sinning (Matthew 7:1–2).
The truth is, you have spread more hate in the last 24 hours than he did throughout his entire career.
I know this won't make any difference to the ones celebrating, but I know some of you will understand. And thank you for listening.
English

@realevelyncross Oh... this man...
You see, I only knew him as a Trump supporter.
Apart from that, no idea. Regarding Christianity, is there some sort of controversy that got him killed?
English

@NatashaCL7 I shouldn't chuckle at this. But then again, it's pretty funny.
You can talk to me though.
English

@realevelyncross Damn... While it is sad to get slapped with a review like this, I believe you had done a pretty good job.
While I personally haven't read your book, I can surmise from your post about your decisions for this plot's frame.
Imagination is the key. Their loss, I guess.

So I got my first 1 star review on my debut and.. maybe I'm not understanding, if I'm reading this wrong, someone correct me, please. Are they upset because because they bought a romance book and it had romance situations about missing someone and just wanting a normal life with a traditional family? "I realized I would never see the female character more than through the male protagonists eyes" you know, the male character the story revolves around. "I started thinking I picked up some smut" there is literally nothing in this book that should lead anyone to believe it would be smutty in anyway. Now again, maybe I'm just not understanding what their real problem is. If you see something I'm missing, let me know. (They even added their own notes that they scientifically took down as they read. pic 3)
