currently, if you mute a reply deeper than the root post it will mute all notifications from the root down anyway. it should only mute from the selected reply down

@magor__missabib tangentially to the subject: i dislike how "mute this conversation" works in practice (unless things changed since i last used it) consider the following situation [1]. "muting" a node in the reply tree should act as a "mute root" [2]. instead, the whole thing gets muted [3]. :(

My team, myself & @camhigby were just violently assaulted on Skid Row, my camera crew were punched in the neck and face, we were pepper sprayed, but thankfully just escaped. Some members of our team had to run 10 blocks to get out.
