Much of Polymarket's core trading infrastructure was built years ago and is now being rearchitected to handle today's scale. ClobV2 with deposit wallet was the top non-negotiable priority because it's what prevents ghost fills the added latency you've seen since v2 mostly comes from new order and wallet validation infrastructure. With that protection in place, reducing latency to the fastest we ever had it is now our single biggest focus. Over the next two weeks we have a series of releases dedicated to bringing latency down. Broadly, they target: - Rewriting one of the slowest internal steps in the order flow. - Smarter handling of activity bursts, aiming at reducing backed-up queues. - Reworking the order book and its data flow. The single biggest latency reduction in the plan. The first release in this series went live today. Expect the next latency releases toward the end of this week and next week.

Polymarket is so shit i am sure @likelypred would work if i would all in on this project, people stay on poly because there is no others alternative.. every country banned, you have to use VPN to use the app, API is hosted on a blacklisted country, physically far from the most liquid exchanges, API Suck, dev suck how the fuck your matching engine could be so slow, what's the bottleneck? Is the backend in typescript and use mongoDB ? they never communicated their architecture if you subscribe to each market over websocket, your socket will crash, the only way i managed to make it work was using rust, and it was not even stable enough regulation on prediction market is awfull, running a prediction market = get raided by FBI

@HyperliquidX @Polymarket My guess is that a solid portion of MM will move to HL and that's where shit will hit the fan if @Polymarket doesn't act extremely fast.

@HyperliquidX is entering prediction markets with deep liquidity and microscopic fees. We trade real money, not peanuts — unreliable infra plus high fees means we leave. @Polymarket : ship the fixes, or get eaten.

@Polymarket is great. It's also dying of greed. On a live taker bot, the picture is bleak — and I think they have weeks, not months, to fix it.
