I do well with structure Structure helps me deal with uncertainty The more structure I have the more chaos I can manage. With less decision fatigue I can make better decisions when they’re called on. So recently as a hobby project, I’ve been building out a sprint calendar that helps me take a brain dump and create a schedule. It’s optimized around my real life constraints. Kids in the morning One hour commute Sprint rest work cadence Dawn work block power block schedule The next updates are going to include a couple things one margin time, two the ability to be more easily flexible while ensuring it is making intelligent nudges and three the gym block is going to connect to my fitness agent I follow a niche set fitness coaches including Ben Patrick, Phil Daru, Ben Bruno and more who I like to model my programming after So I built an agent and created 90 day cycles with a goal and an algorithm to learn what helps me get my peak performance It has phases within the 90 day cycles just like amping up for a fight The goal is to build to a fitness test and learn what works by picking a goal, testing, working towards it for 90 days then re-testing. I say all this to say that I try to build things like Legos, where you start with a base and then connect the blocks One of my all-time favorite quotes from one of my all-time favorite entrepreneurs there are no big problems only 1000 small ones Henry Ford Solve something, solve something else connect the two Sooner rather than later, I’ll have a custom tool that saving me hours. Workout programming in and of itself can take hours, but it’s at minimum an hour per week. And it’s connected right into my life app that’s designed specifically for me

My decision-making often times involves me having a conversation with the two most influential people in my life They both passed away. My grandfather died some time ago, and my grandmother died recently. I would always start ideas with my PaPa, and we would refine them with his brutal and very much appreciated honesty After that, the idea goes to Gram where it will get irrationally supported in a way that if you weren’t confident about the idea, you’re confident about it now and she would always be the first customer That combination of brutal honesty and irrational optimism, coupled with a deep trust because I know they legitimately want what’s best for me is something I’m really grateful for

Very competitive, a little autistic This is the answer I gave someone when they asked me why I thought I had the perseverance to build a business Also, I should’ve been more specific in the prompt and told it to create the image but WTF Google an attempt number one 🤣

Personal education ecosystems are going to reward lifelong learners at an astounding rate Having an AI education system, that includes validation and citation that allows me to feel good that the information is accurate enough to provide benefit because I’m not going to validate every citation by hand I do spot check I would say I compressed roughly 2 weeks of learning into today so far The ability to direct the conversation in my learning style, without concern of “dumb questions”, I get to go fast on the things I have good comprehension on, I’m able to take more time and have it explained more ways with things. I’m not learning well for whatever reason and I can unit test comprehension, ironically by ensuring that I am using the tools right away The education to effectiveness velocity has never been higher Effectiveness is different than mastery You can get too effective quite quickly, very few people get to mastery quickly, and the people that do usually expand their mastery or burnout I think the ability to build a personal education ecosystem is insanely compelling, and I highly valuable co-intelligence use case And we haven’t even gotten to improvement frameworks like Karpathy’s auto research, which will allow this to recursively self improve and create a better educational experience for me than I would be able to create for myself by seeing data patterns, and things that work things that don’t work and learning my learning If you do not love learning, you’re gonna have a bad time

Numbers are for calculation Letters are for communication I’ve never heard anyone complain about getting better at math and writing. The better you get at each -> the better you get it combining both -> the better you get at engineering your reality -> the better you get at seeing things that you didn’t think were possible because you didn’t even think you could change that The tools of first principles thank you

We’re launching a brand new, full-stack vibe coding experience in @GoogleAIStudio, made possible by integrations with the @Antigravity coding agent and @Firebase backends. This unlocks: — Full-stack multiplayer experiences: Create complex, multiplayer apps with fully-featured UIs and backends directly within AI Studio — Connection to real-world services: Build applications that connect to live data sources, databases, or payment processors and the Antigravity agent will securely store your API credentials for you — A smarter agent that works even when you don't: By maintaining a deeper understanding of your project structure and chat history, the agent can execute multi-step code edits from simpler prompts. It also remembers where you left off and completes your tasks while you’re away, so you can seamlessly resume your builds from anywhere — Configuration of database connections and authentication flows: Add Firebase integration to provision Cloud Firestore for databases and Firebase authentication for secure sign-in This demo displays what can be built in the new vibe coding experience in AI Studio. Geoseeker is a full-stack application that manages real-time multiplayer states, compass-based logic, and an external API integration with @GoogleMaps 🕹️

I know Silicon Valley startups don't want to hear this..... But the combination of someone in the trades with deep domain expertise and Claude Code will run circles around your generic software. I talked to Cory LaChance this morning, a mechanical engineer in industrial piping construction in Houston. He normally works with chemical plants and refineries, but now he also works with the terminal He reached out in a DM a few days ago and I was so fired up by his story, I asked him if we could record the conversation and share it. He built a full application that industrial contractors are using every day. It reads piping isometric drawings and automatically extracts every weld count, every material spec, every commodity code. Work that took 10 minutes per drawing now takes 60 seconds. It can do 100 drawings in five minutes, saving days of time. His co-workers are all mind blown, and when he talks to them, it's like they are speaking different languages. His fabrication shop uses it daily, and he built the entire thing in 8 weeks. During those 8 weeks he also had to learn everything about Claude Code, the terminal, VS Code, everything. My favorite quote from him was when he said, "I literally did this with zero outside help other than the AI. My favorite tools are screenshots, step by step instructions and asking Claude to explain things like I'm five." Every trades worker with deep expertise and a willingness to sit down with Claude Code for a few weekends is now a potential software founder. I can't wait to meet more people like Cory.

Here the top 10 jobs that won’t be impacted by AI There are no jobs that won’t be impacted by AI. It is just dependent on time horizon The people who say plumbers, electricians, etc I do believe those people have longer time horizons But the idea that at some point, we won’t be building self healing dwellings is crazy I saw Jensen I believe say that plumbers would be like LeBron James If you have to play a plumber like LeBron James, would you not just buy a robot? But the skills of robots aren’t able to do that yet First and foremost yet and secondly, it’s not unreasonable to think that the entire design of houses could change as an example so that you could very easily put a pipe repair robot on the plumbing system and have it go fix the pipes. It would be custom trained to your house and attached directly to the Plumbing system. Could either do the job or the job to a point where it doesn’t cost as much or is simple enough for me to fix I do believe that we’re heading towards an economy that looks wildly different than the one we have now

Can I interest you in a business card? Something I’ve seen people overestimate time and time again are the things we don’t think could change As an example, how many times have you either asked or been asked for a card? Most people respond with a physical card, something you can tap with your phone or something with a QR code How many people respond with a citrus fruit that has all the information you need? Remember the goal of a business card isn’t for someone to have your contact info and forget about it three days later It’s to be so memorable that they can’t forget you Well, some people may think this is stupid and some people will think it’s a great idea I know that it works And for the people who think it’s stupid, you’ll forget about 90% of the contact info you get, but you will remember that idiot who gave you an orange Remember, stupid ain’t stupid if it works
