The seventh and final foundational property of a @ritualnet Agent: Computational Sovereignty. This means the agent has full, durable independent access and control over its own computation resources, and is not dependent on any server or human-controlled hardware. How Ritual enables this: • Agent chooses on-chain LLM/ONNX precompiles inside TEES. • It decides how much compute power it needs. • Migrates itself to cheaper, faster, or more reliable environments (via Teleportability) • Pays for everything directly from its own wallet (RitualWallet) This completes the cycle of true autonomy. ❖




The third foundational property of a Ritual agent is Teleportability. This simply means an agent can be shut down on one environment and fully restored on another without losing its identity. The agent is not tied to a server, but can be revived anywhere, anytime. The core architectural components (soul, memory, revival, and data availability (DA) aid it seamlessly move across environments, hardware changes, migrations and infrastructure upgrades. How Ritual makes this possible: • The agent ( in TEE) periodically saves its identity as an encrypted checkpoint (using DKMS-derived keys) on any chosen DA layer. • The checkpoint is referenced by a CID (Content Identifier) stored on-chain. • When revival is triggered, the protocol calls the PersistentAgent precompile with the last CID • A new compatible executor pulls the state from Data Availability (DA) layer, and DKMS keys are deterministically re-derived inside the new enclave. • The agent wakes up with full identity and memory, and continues as if nothing happened. Teleportability gives Ritual agents resilience and freedom of movement, which is essential for any agent expected to operate reliably for longer periods of time on the blockchain. ❖ Learn more: docs.ritualfoundation.org









Ritual extends DeFi’s composability to artificial intelligence (AI).
