Unpopular opinion but qurbani is not wajib on non haji people AT ALL. It is actually better to install a water cooler or plant trees as opposed to doing qurbani of an animal, leaving streets dirty and then only giving the scrap parts to ghareeb.

@queserasarasara Ok tell your Shia people that this Muharram they should not hold any majlis gatherings, do matam, or take out juloos, instead they should install water coolers everywhere.

unpopular opinion but kids watching qurbani and being excited for it desensitizes them to alot of animal suffering, they dont view them as living beings rather as inferior creatures that are entitled to cater us

@_Alphaman @YouDontSayWow @PoltclCassandra If the floor is carpeted or not a natural surface, we usually place a turbah/ sajdagah since we prefer forehead-on-earth/clay for sajdah.

@_Alphaman @PoltclCassandra Basically it’s just a small clay piece Sajdagah/ Turbah we put our forehead on during prayer because we believe sajdah should be done on natural earth/material, just a surface for prostration, and for us it also has emotional/spiritual value,l especially if it’s from Karbala.
