Die is inserting himself into the history of this space. I had this tweet in my drafts before the madness kicked off, but after the fact, it really only supports the outlook further. Everyday since I first discovered their work, they have made it to my feed. Every.. day… a new work, made by the same hands, carrying the same meat massaged message. I took immediate interest in their ability to speak on the corporate world and have watched them climb out of their own corporate soil ever since. It’s as though they planted the seeds for their success and then became the vessel for them to feed. An experiment of endurance, but over time a lifestyle for Die. The ability to show up whilst chasing a vision only you have the lens to view, is what I consider the true power of the artist, but the buck doesn’t stop there, you have to find ways to bring your tribe into the ayahuasca fields, and show them what they cannot yet see, and without a second thought or second fuck in sight, Die manages to execute this time after time. A vision so potent the only option was to succeed. ‘Dying is not enough’ will converge to become one of Die’s most sought after series. Ironically for me it carves a new face in the Rushmore of this space. Often one release isn’t enough to achieve this status, it’s a grueling insertion of instinct that overtime forces the face to appear. Creative commitment, grease filled paint tips and a genuine passion to inspire with pain, is to me what makes Die’s work so.. magnetically inspiring to observe. A success that was so easy to track if you were watching, but one that still took you through an emotional self reflective meat tainted grinder as you did. You cannot escape the message. No matter how it's told. For this series in particular, we will all involuntary become the subject of it's strings at some point in our lives. That's what makes it so.. immutably relatable, its as if it breathes beneath your skin. Anyway, the dude fucking knows how paint, knows how to write, knows how to make you look twice at the ceiling before you pass another thought, and now we get to watch a well deserved success story unfolding with each release and I couldn’t be more excited as a creative on the other side of their lens. Yesterday Die proved that persistence isn’t just about showing up. It’s about screaming at yourself in the mirror until your face peels back, forcing you to show up as your truest self. And it’s my personal belief that if there were any mask Die had left, it is now in the hands of the few that managed to obtain one of the 75 well primed works from this release, and before you allude to bag bias, I was unfortunately not one of them.. but I do know great art, self induced talent and genuine passion when I see it. Die is a living reality of that.

First Die - First Like. It’s been a voracious lust for meat ever since. Can’t express enough gratitude for awakening this desire to collect from an artist I so vehemently resonate with. My first piece was Die. My last piece will be Die. More meat. Always more.

it’ll take me longer to process all of this than it did to create the collection itself. but for now, I can say thank you. anything written here would not suffice for the gratitude that envelopes every cell in my body currently. to the folks who reached out prior to the drop with well wishes. those that spent time with the collection in any capacity. to the people who ended up winning one. to glitch the fucking best partners in history. to transient. to anyone whose ever read a single word by me. or enjoyed a single smile from a stupid meme. or departed reality for a moment in an animation. I created things for so long in a vacuum of unbridled isolation for so long, it’s a really special thing to have found people who enjoy the things I make. and make things of their own. or collaborate through shared stories of midwestern depravity or happy nostalgia. thank you. die
