@_BillPosters Solo obviously off Benji’s radar early but can’t believe he hasn’t even got a look in as a reserve. Not NRL level defensively as an outside back but join the club. Perfect 2RF/back cover for current predicament

Very very few positives from club in last couple of months but Heath Mason finding his confidence again has been wonderful to see. Haven’t seen him this confident in his ability and decision making since probably his NRL debut.

@NBWT__ Obvious Saukuru won’t be retained next year. Which is a shame because I think he could offer good versatility in the 19.

If Starford is no chance, hope they go with Tino. Defensive structure has fallen to pieces so points will be leaked whichever way they go. At least you have a creative outlet in the redzone you can bank on + success against Rinakama already.

@NBWT__ I reckon that’s fine. Use the money for another prop (ahem Leota), a backrower, short term backup hooker, and an outside back. Retain Saukuru, Sukkar & Skelton on short deals until the likes of CTM, Havea Jr, Godinet, Glassie and Lanyon are ready.

If Jarome moves on, halves under contract next year are Latu Fainu, Javon Andrews, Adam Doueihi, Jock Madden + depth option of Jake Averillo. Potential wildcard too of Josh Schuster if he earns himself a preseason.

Parramatta are the front runners to sign Jarome Luai for next season. Perth are also keen on signing Luai, however the Eels have emerged as the clear favourites and his most likely landing spot (Tele)

After seeing what shape Schuster is in, really glad club decided to give him a chance. One thing talking about getting in shape but he has gone away and done some serious work. Either way good on him 👏

@NBWT__ Yes good on him. Hope he makes it back to his best. If he was ever open to being a 13, the club could find a spot for him. But if he is adamant on being 6, like he has said, not sure wr have a spot for him.

@NBWT__ I don’t understand, I thought we had to have 30 contracted players by June 30. I count 28 in top30 currently - 27 if Luke L gets released. Unless Bird, Bateman or Bunty are considered part of our top 30?

Schuster deal a free hit. NSW Cup deal so completely separate from Top 30/Development. Effectively a part-timer deal. Obviously all the talent in the world. If it clicks, it’s a massive win for club, if it doesn’t, it impacts no plans and takes up no space + Maggies will be fun.
