I'll never forget the Weber State long snapper giving up FOUR safeties in a game. He later came back to Bobcat Stadium in the playoffs and made no such errors, and even went on to play two more seasons for the Wildcats!

Two safeties in a game has only happened 7 times in the NFL since 2000. Here is the list: Cowboys got 2 vs the Cardinals in 2003 Vikings got 2 vs the Falcons in 2003 Bills got 2 vs the Texans in 2003 Vikings got 2 vs the Packers in 2008 Rams got 2 vs the Cardinals in 2011 Dolphins got 2 vs the Broncos in 2017 Broncos got 2 vs the Seahawks in 2024 LA Rams Defensive End Fred Dyer is the only player in NFL history to record two safeties in a game. That was back in 1973 against the Packers. I wonder how common or rare this is at the collegiate level?
