The result of this year's CONFERS Board of Directors election to fill three seats with three-year terms in the Board Class of 2027 have been finalized. We are pleased to welcome the following new Directors to the Board, effective April 1, 2024:

Dr. @maejemison, the first African American woman in #space, shattered barriers on the Space Shuttle Endeavour in 1992. An engineer, physician, former NASA astronaut, educator, and trailblazer, she inspires future generations to reach for the stars. Her legacy extends beyond orbit, advocating for STEM education and diversity.
