Jesus, what have I gotten myself into?! I'm in serious trouble... Chi, please come to my apartment NOW! That was the panicked voice note my neighbor sent me exactly three hours ago. From the tone of his voice, I knew something was dangerously wrong. I quickly turned off my gas, I was making dinner, and rushed straight to his apartment. There I met this fine girl looking almost possessed, eyes rolling, acting mad. “What happened?” I asked. He narrated everything “We met online, so I invited her over today. I told her to feel at home. During our talking stage, she always mentioned she smokes when she's in the mood. So today I asked if she was in the mood… she said yes. You know I love to smoke before sex, so we both smoked, drank, smooched, cuddled… it was sweet at first. Then she just started acting up. Proper trip” I didn’t know what to do, so I quickly called the Pastor who also lives in our compound. I even covered the girl properly before he entered. Pastor took one look and said “This is not a prayer matter. She needs medical attention… and the police might need to be involved in case anything goes wrong.” My neighbor shouted “Pastor, you can’t involve police o! I fit get arrested for smoking strains” Thank God the Pastor’s wife is a medical practitioner. She came through, gave her cool water, took her to the bathroom, turned on the shower, and handled the situation like a pro. After that, we laid her down… and luckily, she slept off. We left. Two hours later, my neighbor called me again “Chi, she’s fine now. I’ve booked her Uber.” I laughed and jokingly said “You could have allow her sleep over na… tomorrow she will leave so you guys will finish what you started” he screamed “God forbid! She didn’t even know what happened and was still saying she wanted to stay. I forced her to leave. It’s not me she’ll put in trouble” We burst out laughing. But some guys could have still smash after the whole drama sha. Honesty guys, STAY AWAY FROM STRAINS. Especially when you don’t know the person well.

Today we remember Aisha Bello Mustapha. A legendary NTA broadcaster and renowned anchored the 9 PM Network News in the 1990s and 2000s. She served at NTA for 35 years, eventually becoming General Manager of NTA Parliament before retiring in 2022. She passed away on December 10, 2023 Rest in Peace 🕊️
