HS Coaches often complain about breaking “AAU” habits. Lots of time the opposite is true. AAU Coaches have 2 break “HS” habits. Lack of urgency, playing soft due 2 refs calling everything in HS, casual habits that lead 2 turnovers. Not pass faking vs pressure, not playing off 2.

2028 Travis Gordon Jr. is a really interesting prospect. 6’4 with a wiry frame that allows him to play well above his size. He dunked a few times in the half court this afternoon. His size & athletic ability make him one to watch out for the next few years at Oscar Smith HS.

6’6 ‘29 Shawn Mercer (Team Loaded 757) has obvious appeal. Immediately stands out from a physical standpoint, but has the game to accompany the look test. Fluid athlete. Runs the floor well in transition and finishes inside. Displays natural instincts & upside #Phenom757Showcase
