@BreidenFehoko I think it would been foolish to planned to go into a season with 2 rookie starting tackles
English

@jake_burns18 It’s no difference how media has framed every report during coach search. Everything reported in a way to get a negative response towards browns
English

@PhenoMVP Exactly but we took a chance on a Texans QB that no one thought regressed and that BOMBED so I understand people being hesitant.
English

Browns fans turning their nose up at a 24 year old QB who has been above average in 2/3 seasons who also played at Ohio State is baffling to me.
The Dawgs - A Cleveland Browns Podcast@thedawgspodcast
"I'd give up the 24th pick in a heartbeat for CJ Stroud." Jeff Phelps and Andy Baskin discussed the rumors that the Texans QB could be part of trade discussions this offseason. Would you want Stroud in Cleveland if Houston actually considered moving the 24-year old QB?

@JordanReffett @georgewrighster Exactly ain’t no we you can can complain all the development of a kid that spent 1 yr with you. Especially when he was already really good before he got to you lol
English

@georgewrighster The guys that come in for one year? I have no problem sharing that with a school.
English

@tha_buffalo It’s only a cap hit if he’s cut. He’s not being cut his contract expires this off season

@PSchrags @DanielOyefusi @gmfb I thought browns were only “stupid” team in the nfl that use analytics according to fans
English

Browns fans, here's a little something we did on @gmfb a few years back on expected new coaching hire Daniel Stern.
English

@BobMaistros @thedawgspodcast @Browns Exactly! Assumptions made to fit narrative besides that actually align with facts. Browns were interested in keeping Schwartz and probably expressed that interest to candidates. But this notion that it was mandated is obviously not true
English

@thedawgspodcast I think this assertion assumes a lot.
I guarantee Jim Schwartz made it clear to the @browns brass he would walk were he passed over. No chance that question didn't come up. Zero, zip, zilch, nix, nada.
They decided to do it anyway.
Clearly they believed more deeply in Monken.
English

"The entire head coaching search was predicated on keeping Jim Schwartz. You made the final decision to hire Todd Monken...he was the guy who was willing to keep Jim Schwartz. And by doing all of that, Jim Schwartz walks out the door."
Do you agree the Browns head coaching search looks like a completely dysfunctional mess?
English

@whoisbmarshall @SevenCstnza @DanielOyefusi Uhhh you said that like Steve bisciotti is a football expert. He is rich just cuz he say something don’t mean it’s a fact lol
English

@SevenCstnza @DanielOyefusi The result he put on the field was awful. Even the owner called out the coaching and how O Line digressed significantly .
But sure Steve Bisciotti is wrong too lol the national media is right
English

Warhop has been the Ravens OL coach for the last two seasons. During that time, Baltimore’s offensive line has ranked third in ESPN’s pass block win rate and seventh in run block win rate.
Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter
Another hire in Cleveland: Browns HC Todd Monken is bringing former Ravens OL coach George Warhop with him to the Browns to coach the same position, per sources.
English

@teal_andrew @TomPelissero I mean I don’t disagree but I don’t think berry making decision without Haslam approval. If being passed over would have really made Schwartz upset I think he would have let Berry know who would have let Haslam know
English

@_CoachGuy @TomPelissero I take Haslam to not talk to people more than 1 level "beneath" him in the organization and this decision was more Berry than Jimmy.
English

After the Browns informed DC Jim Schwartz this morning they were passing him over to hire Todd Monken as head coach, Schwartz was visibly upset, said goodbyes in the building and told other coaches he’s not coming back, sources tell The Insiders.
Schwartz is under contract and Cleveland wants to retain him. But his future is now unclear.

English

@Stephenhawke8 @TomPelissero I take don’t Schwartz as type of person to sugar coat shyt if he was open to it he say it if not he’d say it
English

@_CoachGuy @TomPelissero Nope. Schwartz clearly didn’t express to them that if he didn’t get the head coaching job, he was leaving. They hired Monken because he was the only one that agreed to keep Schwartz as DC
English

@teal_andrew @TomPelissero I take Schwartz as type of person to sugar coat shyt if he was open he say it if not he say it
English

@_CoachGuy @TomPelissero You assume he knew it would upset Jim.
English

@KaladStormie @jake_burns18 You think he would be more convinced by being passed up by a younger coach w/ no head coach experience and no play calling experience lol that’s hilarious….if reports are true he would have been upset either way.
English

@jake_burns18 You could have maybe convinced him with a Scheelhaase, but not under Monken.
Not sure he’s that much of a miss. Defense is pretty stacked. Wish it mattered.
