In a unified stand for women’s empowerment, inclusion, and a collective political voice, I stood with other Nigerian women at the 10 Million, One Voice, One Movement, One Choice Mega Empowerment Rally at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja. This movement, a gathering that cut across every political line, marks the beginning of Nigerian women’s true emancipation in politics and governance. As the Honourable Minister for Women’s Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, said, the backbone of this movement is empowerment. When women are empowered, their voices grow stronger, and their choices become clear and credible. Nigerian women have the capacity. We have the intellect. We have everything it takes to lead and govern. Today, our voices rang out as one. United. Indivisible. We will no longer be silenced or divided. Our numbers are our strength, and together we will stand to achieve the future we deserve.
