@BareLeft @LeftGrassroots The quality of reports from these outsourcing companies is diabolical (of course). I’ve had a 6 year old come back in to a+e with a missed skull fracture from an outsourced report in the last month alone

NHS outsourcing is one of the big scandals of our time. But we didn't get here by accident. We got here thanks to corrupt politicians in Labour and the Conservatives turning the State into a golden trough for the private sector. Build capacity into the NHS. End outsourcing.

This is the "double tap". Israel bombs civilians, waits for the emergency workers to turn up, and then bombs again. They deliberately slaughter civilians and the medical staff trying to save them. Don't look away.
Hussein of the south@EyesOnSouth1

The moment Zionists massacred a team of rescue workers in a double tap. First they killed a father and his daughter, then bombed a medical team that arrived on the scene with their ambulance

@Grraarrgh I’ve said this multiple times but no, I don’t think the greens standing will affect the results, I simply just think it looks bad for the greens

The Green Party are completely out of touch with the electorate, ‘we’ve shown we can beat reform’ works when they’re contesting the right area. They’re simply ignorant to the fact that the Greens have an extremely low popularity and presence in Makerfield. Saying they think they can win just shows how disingenuous and out of touch they are. By standing a candidate, all they do is help reform win in such a critical election for the future of our country. @ZackPolanski should really think about whether he cares more about popularity stunts or the outcome of an actual election. If you live in #Makerfield remember to vote #Labour on the 18th June and elect @AndyBurnhamGM as our MP in parliament.

@MrMatthewTodd labour calls a byelection it didn't need to call to allow an already elected labour politician to contest the labour leadership mid term with a westminster majority of 167, which if he wins will cause another election that could Let Reform In, and it's this other party's fault?

Kevin O'Leary's proposed data center in Utah will require 9 Gigawatts of energy to function when fully built, double Utah's current energy usage for the entire state. It will dump around 23 atomic bombs worth of thermal load on the environment every day.

I’ve just learned of the killing by Israel of one of the most courageous people I knew: rescuer Hussein Jaber from the Lebanese Civil Defence in Nabatieh. I had known him for three years and met him many times. He was always inspiring, brave and endlessly helpful for many reporters. We will not forget what Israel has done to Lebanon’s rescuers. We will not forget Hussein.

@_DKatal_ @MrTaha The overthrow of the bourgeois state wouldn’t make cooperatives or private labor socialist. All removing individual capitalists does is render capital depersonalized, or in Marxs words, it “turns society into an abstract capitalist” (1844)

Stalin is uncontroversially correct here: ofc there will be surplus product in a socialist economy. The commodity form also doesn't die overnight. The interviewer is repeating romantic idealist-slop where they think communism involves slamming a button titled "END CAPITALISM NOW"

@Greynxgga69 @MrTaha In a global socialist revolution with a global planning mechanism I’d have to agree with Marx, Engels and Lenin. They talk of ‘society’ in every quote you’ve given without definition. This is not the material reality of the Soviet Union.

Commodities cease to exist when labor is “directly associated”/“directly socialized” because the allocation of labor between the different branches of production stops being regulated by indirect restrictions of the deployment of labor (e.g. the law of value) and is instead planned by the united producers. This is how Marx, Engels, and Lenin discussed this.

@Greynxgga69 @MrTaha Commodities are not peculiar to capitalism. In fact that’s the whole basis for Marx’s historical analysis of commodities and exchange in those first few chapters. Commodities simply arise through exchange. You need individuals or groups to exchange. He says nothing more

@_DKatal_ @MrTaha They aren’t independent of capitalism nigga, thats the point. The products are commodities BECAUSE there is still private labor, labor carried out without socialist planning
