Good Lord, the tacos at El Burro Taqueria in Cape Town are some of the best I've ever had! That beef taco in particular gave me a "come to Jesus" moment 🤣 When you combine amazing food with a cozy seating arrangement and funky decor, I'm not sure it gets much better. Let me tell you why you have to visit. This is the second time I visited this little taco store in the last two weeks and both occasions can only be described as "holy". I love the ambience created by the decor and size or the restaurant. It makes for a great spot to have a quick catch-up with a friend while sampling some of the best Mexican cuisine in the Western Cape. Most items on the menu retail for around R50 so you can either eat a little or a lot, and you often get your order in under 10min. On both visits, I saw lots of people enjoying their cocktails too but I can't speak for them personally. I did overhear a few people saying they LOVED them. For at least the last ten years, I have been visiting the original @_El_Burro in Green Point but I honestly think this Kloof Nek branch is my new favourite just because it's so easy to pop in and out so quickly. @wellredwinemag The banks actually encourage forex option for vendors. Bank then collects forex. I think we get a lower % if forex is chosen, but often then the customer loses out on rate & actually pays more in rand terms. Don’t think vendor benefits either way

When I use my uk bank card in SA it sometimes asks me whether I want to pay in rand or £a. Does anyone know if it makes any difference?
