I am so excited to announce that I have decided to verbally commit to App State University to further my academic and athletic career! First, I want to thank God because none of this would be possible without trusting in him. I also want to thank my entire family for all the support and sacrifices they have given me throughout my career. To my coaches. Coach Adrienne, you have been with me from the beginning. Thank you for all the countless hours you have put into me and my family. My Mustang coaches, you made me love the game more than I ever could have and you have always believed in me. I will forever be grateful to have such a supportive staff. Coach Lincoln, thank you for believing in me and helping build my swing. Brett, I want to thank you for all the laughs you have provided while also pushing me to work as hard as I can. Lastly I want to thank my teammates. I am beyond thrilled to announce my commitment to the admissions process at Yale University to further my academic and athletic careers! Above all, I want to thank Jesus Christ. None of this would be possible without him and it is by his grace I am able to accomplish this goal. Next, my dad thank you for the countless hours spent at the fields, long drives, and giving up your weekends to be at my tournaments. I’m so grateful for every sacrifice you’ve made for me to achieve this dream. I wouldn't be the player or the person I am today without you. Thank you to my mom for the endless encouragement and always reminding me of my worth no matter the outcome. You are my biggest fan and I love you beyond measure. Next, I want to thank Jodi Bayles. I am beyond excited to share with everyone that I have committed to University of Kentucky! I am so so grateful that I have been given this opportunity, but it is impossible to say I did it on my own. First, I would like to thank my family. To mom and dad, the unconditional emotional support, camp visits, tournaments out of state, and so much more. I am so blessed to have a wonderful support from home, I would never be where I am now without my mom and dad. To my sisters, Amber thank you for showing me what being a good person is, you are my role model in life and I cannot express my appreciation for you. We grew up playing softball together and I truly believe you are a huge part of where I am today. To mady, thanks for being the ultimate hype woman! You show me hard work and dedication in your sport, and I am so thankful to have you by my side. Secondly I would like to thank all my coaches that helped me get here! To Coach Rene, the smartest coach I know, Thank you for taking all of the mustangs and putting us under your wing and our names out there! You work so hard and it doesn’t go unnoticed! To Coach Beth and ben, thank you for showing 10 year old Lauren what it means to be dedicated to your sport and LOVE the game. To Coach Teddy and Joyce, Thank you Teddy for being an amazing coach on the field and another dad to me off the field. Thank you Joyce for showing me so much love and looking out for me everywhere we go. Thank you Lamar for making this body, I could talk to you for hours and there’s never a moment I don’t appreciate you. Thank you Coach Brad for keeping my swing in check and supporting me through it all. Thank you Coach Eric and Coach Gordon for being the best high school coaches a girl could ask for, many people don’t get fortunate enough to have high school coaches who know what they are talking about, but I have gotten so lucky and I will respect your knowledge forever.
