Talking about propellers, as that can attract some attention, modern aircraft propellers, such as those used on the Lockheed C-130 Hercules, are no longer made solely of metal (aluminum). Instead, they rely heavily on advanced composite materials, which provide superior strength, fatigue resistance, and reduced weight compared to traditional aluminum alloys. Typical composite propeller blades consist of: -Carbon fiber or glass fiber reinforcements for structural strength, matrices that bind the fibers together, - Protective outer layers, often including erosion shields (nickel or polyurethane) on leading edges. This layered construction allows blades to flex slightly under load while maintaining structural integrity, improving aerodynamic efficiency and durability. Unlike metals, composite materials do not have a single, well-defined melting point. Instead, their response to heat is governed by the properties of the resin matrix: - Epoxy resins typically begin to soften and degrade at app. 120–180°C, -Thermal decomposition occurs around 300–400°C, where the material chemically breaks down, - At higher temperatures (500°+ C), the resin burns away, leaving behind exposed or weakened fibers. Carbon fibers can withstand very high temperatures (over 1000°C in non-oxidizing conditions), but will oxidize and weaken in open air at app. 400–600°C Glass fibers soften at app. 600–800°C, eventually losing structural strength. In a fire scenario, composite propeller blades do not “melt” like metal but there can be some bending. In most cases they: - Lose structural integrity as the resin burns off, - Delaminate, - May leave a charred or fibrous skeleton of the original blade, - Often fracture or collapse under mechanical stress after thermal weakening. A blade exposed to post-crash fire will show distinct thermal degradation patterns, which differ from deformation caused by aerodynamic loads or ground impact (such as bending due to powered rotation). The use of composites in aircraft like the C-130 improves performance and survivability under normal conditions, but in fire scenarios, the material response can significantly alter the appearance of wreckage. Understanding these thermal effects is essential for distinguishing between impact damage and post-crash fire exposure in forensic analysis. In summary, composite propellers offer major operational advantages, but their behavior under high temperatures is governed by decomposition rather than melting, resulting in characteristic structural degradation rather than fluid deformation.

@_Entrop_ @MyLordBebo True, but only partly. The Dowty blades are mostly composite material - they don’t behave like he thinks!😀

🇺🇸🇮🇷 ANALYSIS ON THE CRASH THEORY: The bent propellers are a sign of crash landing? Yes, but then you have all of them bent backwards and to the side. When the plane hits the earth and skids forward, the propellers bend backwards while spinning. Here, not all propellers are bent. What is weird is that even one motor has the upper propellers bent and the lower ones straight. How is this possible? Pretty simple: the fuel tank is in the wings and it was full. The whole plane burned to ashes and the middle motors got more heat, so that some propellers melted and bent down… but not backwards. Looks like one is even bend forward and down, what is impossible during a crash landing. No it was not a crash. 1/

A lot of people in my feed are screaming that the golden era is here and Trump’s gonna magically bring back friendship and real partnership with Russia. That’s pure dogshit and complete fucking nonsense. Every single resident and taxpayer in the USA has been personally funding the murder of tens of thousands of Russian-speaking people with their taxes since 2014. Even if some individual spoke out against the war, the broken-ass political system in the USA still took their money and funneled it straight into killing my people. How many Americans actually stood up and opposed using Ukraine as a proxy meat grinder against Russia? I didn’t see any headlines about that huge chunk of the population suddenly refusing to pay taxes or rising up against their political elites — and yeah, that’s understandable, normal even. Like we say in Russia: “your own shirt is closer to the body.” Here’s the real catch, though: blood can only be paid for with blood. All those tearful quotes, sympathy posts, and even cash “compensation” won’t wash a single drop of it away. For the average American this is just business as usual — pay your taxes, sip your coffee, and somewhere on the other side of the planet hundreds of thousands die. That fake sense of total invulnerability and impunity made this possible on a national scale. People don’t even pause to realize their whole political system is basically a cannibal devouring the weaker ones. We’re not gonna be friends again just because some dancing president took power who’s still happily helping kill the population of my country. Let me say it one more time: tens of thousands of my people were slaughtered on your tax dollars while you were chilling in your state, drinking coffee and enjoying life. That kind of shit doesn’t get forgiven and it doesn’t get forgotten. It shouldn’t, and it won’t. We’re not the ones to blame that your political system is so fucking sick in the head that the hate between your own parties followers is stronger than the tension between Turks and Kurds. But we can still be the vaccine. What’s happening in Iran right now — over 750 wounded and killed — is a weak, impotent little attempt by the universe to bring some kind of balance. It’s not working. Yugoslav blood still hasn’t been paid for. Neither has Iraqi, Afghan, Cuban, or Russian blood. It’s gonna take a hell of a lot more payments before we as a nation feel like the debt has been settled in full. So go fuck yourselves, you pathetic hypocrites yapping about “friendship of nations” while your debts are still unpaid. I met some good individuals on this platform from the US, but being nice guys doesn’t change how things are on scale
