My aunt Emily was hit by a driver at Benedicta Utawala at Eastern Bypass by a car registered under the company first source limited and killed her on the spot. The driver ran away and left the car May her soul rest in peace

Another death in police custody! According to police reports, 25 years old Lucky Odhiambo Okoth was found dangling on an improvised rope made from pieces of clothes inside a cell at Malindi Police Station in the morning of Friday 17th April 2025. The report says there were 21 other prisoners at the station but that Lucky was in one cell alone! @VOCALAfrica_ is following up the matter with its Malindi partner Malindi Community Human Rights Centre and @KaudoVictor.

If Ruto was a doctor, he would amputate the wrong leg, then give the other leg a pedicure and charge for a heart transplant and a postmortem.

Do not celebrate this trap. This is a highly calculated psychological and legal setup. Under Section 6 of the VAT Act, the CS can only alter the tax rate by a maximum of 25% via a legal notice. That means they can only legally drop it to 12% without a Parliamentary vote. Dropping it to 8% by executive decree is intentionally unconstitutional. Why do it? Because they know Omtatah or the LSK will be forced to challenge it in court tomorrow. When the Judiciary inevitably strikes down this illegal decree, the Executive will go to the podiums and say: "We tried to lower the fuel prices for YOU, but the courts and activists stopped us." They are outsourcing the blame to the judges while keeping the Ksh 28/litre G-to-G cartel premiums completely untouched in the background.
