This life really humbles person. There’s this security guard at the hospital close to my compound. Today, he came to me for POS because his boss wanted to send his salary. ₦40k… for a whole month. After the alert entered, he said, “Mama abeg, help me use ₦18k buy foodstuffs wey go last me for weeks.” Ah. I just paused and looked at him. In this economy? Someone working every day, standing for long hours, securing people, and earning just ₦40k monthly. My heart couldn’t ignore it. I helped him buy everything at wholesale price without adding any profit. Carried the goods on my head inside hot afternoon sun like say na my own monthly supply 😩 But honestly, I felt happy doing it. Because beyond business, sometimes humanity matters more. This life no balance… But may we never be too busy to show kindness.

There is nothing shameful about this photo and it’s sad that it even needs to be said. What I see here is a woman carrying life… strong, vulnerable, and beautiful in a way words can’t fully capture. This is not something to hide. This is something to honor. And beside her is a man who didn’t step back, didn’t shy away, didn’t let society’s noise make him shrink. He stood firm. He covered her with love, not judgment. He showed up fully, proudly, unapologetically. In a world where many men disappear when responsibility calls, this man chose presence. He chose partnership. He chose to stand with the woman carrying his child and say, “I’m here.” That deserves respect. We’ve become too quick to criticize what is pure. Too quick to shame what is natural. But there is nothing indecent about love, about unity, about preparing to bring a child into the world together. If anything, this is what strength looks like. This is what love looks like. This is what family looks like. Celebrate them, don’t condemn them. Oh wow, what is wrong with men of nowadays. Call me modern, but I believe a woman’s body is hers completely and without permission from anyone. What she chooses to wear, how she expresses herself, and what she posts online are all part of her personal freedom. A healthy relationship isn’t built on control or ‘allowing’ someone to exist a certain way. It’s built on trust, understanding, and mutual respect. The moment you start using words like ‘I won’t allow,’ it shifts from partnership to control and that’s not love. Everyone has preferences, and that’s fine. But preferences should guide your choices, not restrict someone else’s freedom. If something makes you uncomfortable, the mature thing is to communicate openly and respectfully not to impose rules. At the end of the day, a confident man doesn’t feel threatened by a woman expressing herself. He respects her individuality, supports her choices, and trusts the foundation of the relationship. You don’t own a woman, you partner with her. And partnership means both people have the freedom to be themselves. Nevertheless, you can allow your woman to dress naked in public but my woman knows what awaits her if I see this kind of pictures online. Shalom o
