Buckingham Football Club can confirm that manager Scott Reynolds has stepped down from his position as First Team Manager, along with assistant Ryan Gurton and coach Brett Moran also leaving their roles at the club. Scott & Ryan joined the club during the early part of the 2024/25 season and both made an immediate impact, helping to turn around the squad’s fortunes on the pitch and successfully consolidating our position at Step 6. The leadership, commitment, and hard work from both Scott & Ryan have been invaluable during this period. Brett joined the management team at the start of the 2025/2026 season, adding a new dynamic to the management team with a focus on coaching and other duties within the first team squad. We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Scott, Ryan & Brett for their dedication and professionalism throughout their time at the club. They all leave with our utmost appreciation. Everyone at Buckingham FC wishes Scott, Ryan & Brett all the very best for the future. Reynolds said: ‘On behalf and Ryan, Brett & I, we would like to place on record our thanks and appreciation to the committee, supporters, wider staff, other managers, other coaches, and of course all the players at Buckingham FC. It’s been a roller coaster and a full on couple of years, but we leave the club in a considerably better position than what we first came into. Scoreline in my opinion harsh on us but a 100% a performance to be proud of and to build on for the rest of the season.

That’s the levels we MUST hit every game if we are going to succeed this season. Lads were exceptional for large periods of the game and thoroughly deserved to win 3-0!! ⚽️🔵🦢

Really disappointing evening after changing the game plan early on in the game we contained a good Long Buckby side. Conceded a poor goal which killed us and then another goal in quick succession and we didn’t recover. Time for reflection and to regroup to go again Saturday.

We are looking to hit the ground running for the 2025/2026 season and the first role we want to fill is one of a Sports Therapist for our First Team. Supporting our first team management team and players primarily, we are looking for a qualified sports therapist / trained first aider to assist with match days and Thursday nights training sessions. We see this role to be of interest to a newly qualified candidate, or someone with experience looking to support a growing local football club. The successful candidate must show proof of qualifications and be willing to take any of the courses mandated by the FA. These will be fully expensed by the club. I wan to thank @_Gurts_ , @CooperJoeCooper and Scottie for being amazing people and doing a good job to guide the team to 11th place this season. Also thank you to all of the players who contributed to the season for being great people even when results didn't go out way.

Yesterday marked the end of the season for the first team at @thebuckinghamfc. And I just want to say than you to everyone involved with the club for the great season we've had. I think our recent form with 4 wins in a row and the 7 games without one really sums up the season.

A performance to be proud of in a strange way. Battled throughout the 90mins with title challengers and were on top for periods of the game just didn’t take our chances. We will certainly take the positives out of this one and a huge building block for the 2025/26 season ⚽️🔵

We missed Gurts @_Gurts_ at the weekend, so I'm using that as an excuse to dust off these beauties from our 6-a-side day a couple of months ago...

Tough one yesterday but the run keeps going, end the season well and see where it gets us!
