@ishaqsamaila5 And then choose another Yoruba for his replacement 🤣 More like wale you have chop enough, taiwo should come and chop his own? So u mean in the whole of Nigeria, only yorubas are qualified to be minister of finance under Tinubu 🤣

They said it’s a “Yoruba government” like it’s already settled. Then Wale Edun happened. If this was purely tribal, would a top figure from the President’s own ethnic group be shown the door? That’s not how nepotism works—it protects its own at all costs. Reality is more complex. Power isn’t sentimental. It responds to pressure, performance, and politics—not just tribe. Is everything perfectly balanced? No. But reducing every decision to ethnicity is lazy analysis. Let’s shift the conversation: Focus on results. Demand competence. Insist on fairness. Because one label can’t explain everything. May Nigeria win 🇳🇬

Every election cycle...there are the 2 major powers that must back the Presidential candidate that will win....and it includes 'rigged' win....if they do not back you...u no fit rig sef 1) The Ex-Generals 2) The Ex- Presidents However, in 2023...for the first time in democracy, a Presidential candidate that didnt have such backing, Won.......and that is President Tinubu... Pls do not tell me about rigging...because i am still in awe...and struggling to understand how someone outside govt that didnt have the FG backing....was able to : 1) Manouvre to win primaries after getting other candidates to step down for him on the rostrum 2) Took control of Federal Apparatus Pls do not talk about money..bcos money politics has always been a part of us.. I just need deep insights of the GAME OF CHESS he applied....

I remember last year when I rode to Yenagoa, this area was mostly swamp and thick bush. Almost like a place still waiting for its story to begin. But this year, I came back with my camera and what I saw was something completely different. I am glad I documented the progress of the New Yenagoa City, the remarkable transformation. Roads now cut through what used to be waterlogged terrain, opening up the space and giving it structure, direction, and life. What was once difficult to access is now becoming a connected, evolving urban landscape. You can literally see the vision taking shape. Bayelsa is no longer just potential, it is becoming opportunity. The kind of place investors should start paying attention to. The foundation is being laid, and it’s solid. Credit to the Bayelsa State Government for driving this vision, and to @lubrikconstruction for delivering solid road infrastructure that speaks for itself. This is what progress looks like, real, visible, and impactful. #yenagoa #bayelsastate #urbandevelopment #nigeria

The outcome of ADC primaries if they all contest and nobody leaves the party. 1) Atiku - 1st. 2) Amaechi - 2nd. 3) Peter Obi - 3rd. Facts are stubborn.

Governor Ododo also paid off all debts in Kogi state and he’s currently building an airport. As a matter of fact, no Governor is borrowing since Tinubu came into power because he made everything available for them.
Tony Ajah@tonyajah

JUST IN: Governor Otti moved Abia’s debt profile from ₦191.2 billion to ₦48.4 billion by paying a staggering sum of ₦142 billion in less than 3 years in office, yet with all the work he’s doing, he hasn’t borrowed a dime. Good governance is not rocket science. You either know what you are doing, or you are busy stealing and lying.

@damola_ade77 @edward_wonder Jonathan only spent 1yr and 6months as governor. When his boss was removed Dec 2005, he was already contesting to be PDP candidate for 2007. Then yaradua now choose him as running mate. This bayelsa gov has almost spent 8yrs and we should praise him for one road Abi?

@edward_wonder Credit must also go to President Tinubu for making funds available to responsible governors like that of Bayelsa to execute such a laudable project. They're the gains of subsidy removal. Nigeria will ve great again. Slowly but surely.

Obidients quickly created an Obi/Kwankwaso scenario to massage their ego. The fun fact is that Kwankwaso is bigger than Obi in terms of record of good governance, track record, political sophistication and even academic standing. Even in that scenario, Kwankwaso should be leading😎

If you want your state to be like Lagos from 2027 copy this system and stop shouting GODFATHERISM 📍Have a rallying leader. 📍Build a 32-year plan starting from 2027. Use a disciplined political party for continuity. 📍Raise governors from within the system people who understand governance, have served in it, and can continue, not restart. 📍Set up a Governor’s Advisory Council to handle political guidance so the governor can focus on governance. 📍Build a policing House of Assembly that holds not just the executive accountable, but the entire civil service system. Empower local governments. In many states, everything revolves around the governor. The governor becomes the rallying point, the head of the political party, the de facto advisory council, and even controls the House of Assembly. The same governor often limits the independence of local governments, keeping power centralized. The result is simple: once that governor leaves office, the entire vision collapses. What was built doesn’t continue—it resets. And the state starts all over again instead of moving forward. ✌️That’s the real secret not GODFATHERISM -Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji

Grammar noted 😂, but let’s focus on facts, not fiction. I’ll take my time to school you. First, Tinubu did not install governors in “all the remaining 5 South West states” as you claimed. That’s simply not true. • Ogun: Dapo Abiodun (Yayi) may be the first governor with direct PBAT influence, and even that is debatable. • Osun: No straight continuity from Tinubu’s structure; Adeleke (PDP) is there. • Ekiti: No PBAT influence; Oyebanji emerged through the party process, not installation. • Ondo: Same thing; no direct Tinubu installation. • Oyo: His ally Ajimobi died, power shifted elsewhere, and Seyi Makinde (PDP) has been governor since 2019 with zero Tinubu control. • Kwara (even if we stretch it): Same story , not a Tinubu-installed product. So tell me: at what exact point did Tinubu “install” governors across the entire South West? Name the states and the years. You can’t, because it didn’t happen. And that’s the whole point. Lagos is not ahead because Tinubu personally installed people everywhere. Lagos is ahead because it built and sustained the exact system the original post described: • A rallying leader + disciplined party structure • Long-term continuity (Tinubu → Fashola → Ambode → Sanwo-Olu) • The famous Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) that guides, not the governor alone controlling everything • A clear transformation plan that outlasts any single individual Apart from Lagos, which of the other South West states has a GAC or a documented 20–30-year state transformation plan? None. That is why they are not like Lagos, not because Tinubu is “godfather” in one place and not the other. The moment you remove the system and replace it with “the governor is everything,” the vision dies when the governor leaves. That’s exactly what we see in most states. I’m from Ogun state and I’m happy because Yayi is the first incoming governor that might replicate GAC system, all former governors accepted him as consensus, that’s a starting point. So stop pretending the difference is Tinubu’s personal installation magic. The real secret is the institution Lagos built, not the individual. Copy the system, not the godfather narrative. The post said it clearly: stop shouting godfatherism and start building the structure. @alabiopeyemiola I don help you school am 😎

@piuskayltd @_Home_Boy @alabiopeyemiola @Comr__Asiwaju They are so blind with their hatred for Tinubu, they dnt tried to understand what the topic is about. No one mentioned Tinubu in the discussion, Tinubu alone did not make up the GAC and he has no control over them, that’s why it was hard for Ambode to come back for second term.

@_Home_Boy @hawlarr @alabiopeyemiola @Comr__Asiwaju Why don't you read and understand the caption very to see what it's talking about. No state has done what Lagos is doing. Even when Tinubu is involved as you said, they still end up muscling up their selfish ambitious for control. Non built a system that can work like Lagos State

@_Home_Boy @Baneofsapa @alabiopeyemiola One of the major reason in my opinion I may be wrong why Lagos progressed was because they did not allow npn party to win Lagos thet would have been catastrophic.omoboriowo joined npn in ondo state and brought great backwardness to ondo state.
