Nobody is saying they didn’t grow or achieve a tangible step forward. Cool with highlighting that and it’s not insignificant at all
At the same time a 1 seed with an MVP finalist going out in the 2nd round like that shouldn’t be sugarcoated. It is disappointing

@JimCosta_ It’s only disappointing if they didn’t meet your preseason expectations. No one thought this was a 1 seed or a 60 win team to start the year. But expectations will be higher going into next year now, so this summer will be huge

@JimCosta_ A lot of people in these replies believe that being out in the 2nd round (should have actually been the 1st) as a 60 win 1 seed is a great season. Really shows how low the expectations are in this town.

@JimCosta_ In what world was this season a disappointment? 14 wins two years ago, 44 last year, and 60 this season. Won a playoff series for the first time in 18 years and played an all-in Cavs team to 7 games. The way this series played out is a disappointment, but the season is not.
