I’m incredibly grateful to have be invited to spend the afternoon with the @NPASSouthWest team operating from their base at Exeter Airport. (NPAS 44) They deliver a fully borderless air service to @DC_Police and other forces across England & Wales and carry out a variety of tasks, such as searching for missing persons, searching for suspects, managing vehicle pursuits & assisting with counterterrorism and specialist firearms operations! They are an incredible team & an invaluable asset to police operations and public safety! #ThankYou

There is also a fear the electrical current could act as an initiator for a PBIED. However it's the best option these officers had. In simple terms don't taser get stabbed die & they still blow themselves and others up. Try Taser hope it doesn't go boom & you dont get stabbed.

Very well, thank you JG. I’ve had a pleasant evening wrestling with a double glazing window, whose lock decided it was ‘life extinct’. I’m pleased to report that after a few expletives, I have repaired the lock and the window now opens and closes to the manufacturers and my own expectations. 💪 That’s how I roll on a Monday! 😂

Hamper of luxury Cornish goods despatched to an officer based in mid-Cornwall who has a serious illness. Sending them all our best, and reminding them that the Cornish Police Family care.

An early start today with some 7:30am Sunday speed checks. Disappointing to find three motorcycles travelling at 95MPH on a 40MPH road. At these speeds even an experienced rider would still need well over 100m breaking distance. This could be catastrophic, especially if the rider has to break in an emergency and is particularly concerning, given the rate of motorcycle fatalities that we have seen on our roads. Sadly, we have already lost one young rider who was involved in a collision, earlier this week and even as I type this Tweet, I’m hearing reports of another collision involving a motorcycle, on the very same road that the team were monitoring this morning. We don’t want to lose any more! Whatever you are doing, stay sensible. stay safe and drive/ride carefully!
