The actions (not the religion) can be restricted under Article nine of the European convention, it is very clear, you have the right to religious freedom but not if it means breaking the law of the land and if it’s going to undermine the very democratic nature of the society. Then you can rein them in. A European democracy can restrict actions carried out in the name of religion if those actions threaten law, public order, or others’ rights.

That date marks the end of the Reconquista, the centuries-long process in which Christian kingdoms gradually retook territory in the Iberian Peninsula that had been under Muslim rule since the early 700s.
