I find it weird that these same bums would cry if they get the same treatment when it's about the capital's white team. You cannot chose when to support the RFEF and when to complain and cry on social media. It's like they're living their own bubble.

Muchas gracias por la explicación, @CTARFEF. En estos tiempos se agradece que alguien reconozca sus errores.

He literally said "doesn't matter if Gerard Martin was first at the ball". Ignorance has no cure. Go read something.
Atletico Daily@AtletiDaily

@_ItsKarim @atletiuniverse Doesn’t matter if he was first at the ball it’s the follow through that is terrible. Have you ever cleared a ball? Or have gone for a 50/50 tackle?? When he clears it with his left, he has all his balance on his right foot, he didn’t need to lung forward with the follow through

🚨 DID YOU KNOW: 24 years ago, Xavi Hernández replaced Marc Overmars in the second half of an Athletic Club vs Barcelona match. Since that moment, Barcelona have ALWAYS had at least one La Masia graduate on the pitch. This has happened for every minute of every game, in 1,398 matches in a row. — @orioljove

For people who don’t follow things in Spanish, the ref in th VAR, who corrected the decision so that it lined up with the 14 other instances where this same action has happened in the season (where it has always been yellow) is now being punished. Because it favored Barça.

💣🚨 BREAKING: Melero López, the VAR referee who influenced Busquets Ferrer’s decision to overturn Gerard Martín’s red card, is set to receive a HUGE punishment from the CTA. Busquets Ferrer will also be punished, but Melero’s sanction will be harsher, as the CTA considers the VAR’s mistake more serious. The CTA believes it was a situation the on-field referee had already judged correctly in real time, and that VAR should not have intervened, as it was not a clear and obvious error. @ArchivoVAR

It's something that is open to interpretation. The ref saw the video and decided. The VAR should intervene but the final decision must be made if the ref sees it. The interpretation is what makes this decision hard to call, I expected the red because when it comes to interpreting such plays, you can't be lucky with Spanish refereeing if you're not wearing white. Again, whoever is the player, the one who's first on the ball must be looked at carefully, intention for harm is clear and can be seen and must be rewarded a red card. If it's accidental, not intentional, It would be a yellow card at best. This is what the VAR must do, analyse such plays and decide or interpret the intentions if players.

@AtletiDaily @_ItsKarim @atletiuniverse It wasn’t a tackle And the var Will be punished not because he called the ref ,but instead because he gave an opinion which Idg allowed Var officials aren’t allowed to give an opinion on things like that

@AtletiDaily @atletiuniverse I think you're the one who claims to be playing football in this conversation. The movement of his leg is natural. If you don't see it, means you know nothing about football. Plus, clearly he was first at the ball, so...

@_ItsKarim @atletiuniverse It’s a reckless tackle with unnecessary force. A bunch of people chattin’ but clearly don’t play football to understand that Martin did not have to follow through like that. He’s lucky he didn’t break Almada. When have you ever seen a ref card shown that fast be overturned?

In Better Call Saul, Ever realize how one random, clueless guy kinda set off the entire Breaking Bad universe? I’m talking about Daniel Wormald, that dude with the ridiculous yellow Hummer At first, he just seems like a harmless idiot trying to play gangster. But look closer… he hires Mike Ehrmantraut. That one move connects Mike to Nacho Varga. Then Nacho pulls Mike into the whole mess with Hector Salamanca. Now things escalate. Gus steps in. Mike starts working for Gus Fring. Through that chain, Saul gets involved… and eventually, Walter White enters the picture. It’s honestly crazy to think that one small, dumb decision by one guy created a ripple effect that led to so much chaos, destruction, and dèath.

came across this clip again. this is why i’ll always rate flick. putting ego aside, saying “we have to agree” instead of forcing his idea. do you know how rare that is now? and you’ve got kimmich there actually stepping up as a leader. real leadership on both sides.

VAR took 5 minutes (!!!) to draw their own imaginary line to cancel Cubarsi's goal at this same stadium against this same team weeks ago yet nobody said anything. They also had a clear red card not given for a foul that was way worse than Martin's one. Atleti were quiet. Nothing.

💣🚨 BREAKING - Atlético Madrid CEO Gil Marin speaks up following yesterday's events against Barça: "When we see the images and listen to the audio shared by the Federation, all that’s left is a feeling of embarrassment. It’s not acceptable that we are allowed to hear their comments, completely contrary to how VAR is supposed to function, and nothing happens. Referees have the same right to make mistakes as players, coaches, and directors, but mistakes in the game are just that: mistakes. It’s another thing entirely when a VAR referee influences the on-field referee while he is judging a play. The on-field referee must have the responsibility and make decisions by interpreting each situation. VAR should only intervene to correct non-interpretive errors, not to decide instead of the main referee. It’s not normal for identical plays to be judged differently, for criteria to change, and for us not to know what to expect. It’s happened to us in the last two matchdays. It makes no sense. And the worst part is that the CTA itself explained a similar play a few matchdays ago, saying it should have been a red card. Yet yesterday, in an identical situation, the referee made the correct decision, and VAR led him into error by overstepping its role, the very role that has been explained to players, coaches, and directors, but unfortunately is not being followed."
