I'm getting real sick of the narrative control and the secrecy from our country's leader, so I'm just gonna throw it out there. Our PM been doing a lot of secretive deals without declaring them - just the other day a senator called him out for his lack of transparency. There is a deal in motion to balance the nuclear and eco power structures; Albanese was set to do Net Zero with the rest of the cronie countries however they realized they needed more electricity for all the AI tech they blasted money into and eco wasn't going to cut it. So last visit to China, Albanese made a trade deal to allow China-owned nuclear power stations to run the AI tech coming to our countries. What he has also failed to declare is the Digital ID bill / Kids Online Safety Act which is set to come into effect by the end of the year that will prevent us from talking about these things entirely so dear leader can look good while he talks about cost cuts for the few while the majority suffer in silence. And we all know the import numbers he's piling into our country despite the cost of living crisis and lack of housing for them all - how on earth does importing more competition for jobs and housing make for a better future? You don't have to take my word for it, it'll all prove itself soon enough - or we can stop it before it starts by refusing to shut-up about anything anymore.

@johnjeroo @BigMac427976 Yeah they went overboard for sure, two wrongs don't make a right - one let impulse take control, the other(s) out of retaliation.

@_JTomic @BigMac427976 Even wilder is that fact that people thinks it's ok to then go a assault the driver and complete destroy their vehicle. That's some psychopathic thinking there.

Zero mention of the fact that these kents are riding unregistered motorcycles. Typical Muslim mob mentality tho. Good luck getting the local police stations to answer the phone. Understaffed and overwhelmed. A grade reporting !

@LynGrah77334182 @AlboMP I'm not disagreeing with you, like I stated; "by having our own refineries and extractors here for our resources - in case of emergencies like the current fuel crisis - we'd have the stockpile to fall back on." Unlike now currently we have only now imports to rely on.

@_JTomic @AlboMP Australia exports a lot of crude, but much of it is light crude which is not ideal for producing all fuel types (like diesel and jet fuel). Modern refineries are designed for specific crude blends so even with resources, you still need imports to match refinery needs.

@LynGrah77334182 @AlboMP You're right, Australia's challenge is more; bad policies from bad politicians. Yes we'd still import resources, but by having our own refineries and extractors here for our resources - in case of emergencies like the current fuel crisis - we'd have the stockpile to fall back on.

@_JTomic @AlboMP Australia’s challenge isn’t “other countries ripping us off” - it’s that true fuel independence is extremely hard & expensive in a globalised oil market. Building refineries alone doesn’t remove our vulnerability because we’d still rely on imported crude & global shipping routes

@LynGrah77334182 @AlboMP Didn't seem to stop the push for the eco power transition though did it? These places were closed down during the eco push and because of that we now face a fuel crisis and other countries ripping us off for a stupid decision not to have our own resources extracted n stockpiled.

@_JTomic @AlboMP A new refinery costs $5–10+billion, 5–10 years to build. Would have to compete with highly efficient mega-refineries overseas. Would also face long-term demand uncertainty due to energy transition. Makes private investors extremely reluctant, regardless of which party in power.

@chinguetti1 @AlboMP @noisywomanMP China is not the future, and should not be. We've seen enough abuse of the people there to know that, the constant bullying of Taiwan, the social credit system that promotes the agreeable and decimates the people speaking out. There is no future with China, choose freedom instead

Now more than ever, our relationships with our neighbours matter. Tonight I spoke with Premier Li Qiang of the People's Republic of China. We talked about the importance of energy security, and how we can work together for the benefit of our nations and our region. We will continue to engage in dialogue to maintain our stable and constructive relationship.

Oh no, see our PM is like the other bludgers of our country that sell themselves for a carton of beer - except cant do that with our resources, that would look bad, so he just asks for a little bit from china so that china can take our resources, turn it into products that we then buy back from china for 3x the price it would have been if we had kept it here and made it ourselves.

@AlboMP Albo, we have the resources, but you keep closing down or selling off our refineries and extraction production in order to further the Net Zero agenda to move us onto electric cars, only to then create an electricity shortage as eco cant keep up - its a never ending carousel.

@AlboMP I like how you keep adding that part at the end to avoid accountability for your failure in keeping our supply going. We'd be doing ok if you kept half our resources for times like this or sold them at a decent price.

We're halving the fuel tax for three months to save you money when you fill up. Conflict overseas is pushing up prices at home. And we know Australians are feeling the pressure.

Why do you keep blaming the war for our shortage when you know damn well it's because of your policies - not building the houses, closing down manufacturing plants, not mining our resources and keeping them instead of letting china and other countries rip us off as middle men... You sent billions to Gaza and Ukraine support, keeping these wars going and affecting us over here, overseas conflicts becoming more and more common place thanks to your brand of corporate multiculturalism and weak responses to threats of terrorism.

@AlboMP I just learned what this actually means for us. What the actual fk are you thinking Alco? Our resources and supplies are low as is while you import 100,000 people and you want to trade to the EU at low costs for what again, some wine and chockies? This globalist bs needs to go

Worlds apart, but now closer than ever 🇦🇺🇪🇺 Australia and Europe are taking our relationship to the next level with a once in a generation Free Trade Agreement and Security and Defence Partnership. More jobs. More security. More local products in global markets. And in an increasingly uncertain world, these relationships matter. Because when we work together, we’re stronger than ever.
