There are seasons where you only see your house when it’s dark out.
Leaving in the pitch black and getting back in pitch black.
And as much as it can feel like the darkness never ends, or the sacrifice won’t be worth it.
Being the person who finishes what you start always is.
You’re gonna lose sleep.
You’ll doubt whether it’ll work.
You’ll stress to make ends meet.
You won’t finish your to do list.
You’ll wonder if you made the right call - and have no way to know for years.
This is what ‘hard’ feels like.
And that’s okay.
Whenever a decision feels confusing to me, it usually means I’m optimizing for multiple goals.
Figure out the goal and the path becomes easier to pick.
