There’s been a lot of chatter lately about the state of the metaverse. The boom years created expectations the technology was never going to meet that quickly. And the gap between expectation and reality shaped what came next. What has remained true the whole time? People still want places to be together online. We see it every day in @Decentraland. People meeting new people, trying new things, and stepping outside their usual IRL social bubbles. That’s why we’re still here building. This year, the focus is simple: give people that place. Desktop is even more immersive. Epic Store launch is quickly approaching. 👀 Mobile is already in beta testing, with public launch coming soon, expanding access even further across the globe (links in comments). 📲 If you’re looking for a new place to be with others online, you're always welcome in Decentraland. 🫶 Come hang out.
