Imagine this guy VDM, a video that was posted by an opposition media page in other to use it against the President. VDM has the guts to come online and be insulting the President Spokesman and causing emotional damage online. He'll definitely come back to defend himself, he thinks this is his regular clouts he has been doing with all them portable, Bobrisky and the rest. It's only the court the will decide his fate in this or else he'll face the full weight of the law.

VDM’s actions should not go unpunished. You cannot fabricate a voice note of the President, post it as genuine, and expect no consequences when you know full well it is fake. He appears to believe he is above the law in Nigeria, but no one — regardless of status — is above the law in this country. His behaviour is crossing serious lines, and he needs to be taught a hard lesson. He should be arrested the moment he returns to Nigeria and properly prosecuted.

First of all, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu does not normally speak as fast as the voice in that recording. Secondly, if the president did not call Peter Obi to step down in 2023 when the political contest was much tighter, why would he suddenly do so now when APC appears even more confident and stronger politically with millions of registered party members and an existing incumbency advantage? To many observers, this looks more like an attempt to play to the emotions of some of his supporters who are already deeply angry at Bola Ahmed Tinubu and may easily believe negative claims against him without proper verification.
