The purpose of social media is to connect, build, engage and share values with one another. People need to understand that the world is changing rapidly; what used to work before no longer works anymore. Trends are moving rapidly. Very soon, people will rate your generosity and kindness on social media based on how you engage or follow back. We will see celebrities having their follower count go to zero because they feel too big to engage with their followers or even follow back. It's not a prediction, it's a spoiler. Engagement is the new currency.

You believe reports about Atiku, Tinubu, El-Rufai, Kwankwaso, and other politicians before 2023 when they were governors, not just reports from news outlets, but comments that can be traced back to apps like facebook; But you draw the line when it comes to Peter Obi? Keep deceiving yourself.

Peter Obi said this. Even his own children don't believe him because he has most likely promised and failed repeatedly, but many Nigerians act like they know him best and can vouch for his every word. Considering how he teams up with the people he criticizes and decamps after promising not to, this is no surprise. Imagine your very own children making a record of what you say because they know it will be used eventually, that's the height of distrust and raises questions.

It is embarrassing that you guys keep proving how hateful you are towards the President, the country and everyone who doesn’t support your messiah. How can you watch a 42 second video and conclude that the President is dull? Did you listen to the question and his reply? How about watching a longer video if not the full video of the discussion? I really hope you guys can sit back and reflect on the damage you are doing to the political goodwill of the people you are supposed to build bridges with. How long do you people want to cry over marginalization? How long do you think setting people up for curses, insults and attacks can give you what you want so bad?

The opposition parties that came together and said that they want to project a single candidate in their Amala convention at Ibadan, now have three candidates in three parties running separately. 😂😂😂😂😂 Bunch of jokers.

Peter Obi was the vice-presidential candidate to Atiku Abubakar in 2019; he was the one who led Atiku into the campaign in 2019. Then, from nowhere in 2027, after Atiku had brought you [Obi] into national politics, you are now creating the impression with your toxic followers that Atiku is not qualified to be president. – Kenneth Okonkwo, ADC Member

People that were crying for Justice Crack to be released preferred he remained in custody for VDM and Marshall to take the glory. If truly y’all genuinely love the boy, you would have kept aside ego and allowed Barr. Marshall to proceed with his bail. But they all want the glory as individuals.

Teargas in a Hospital, a Thoughtless Act. I have just read the recent troubling reports of how the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) allegedly stormed the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital in a bid to arrest Professor Eyo Ekpe, a professor of cardiothoracic surgery and deputy chairman of the hospital’s medical advisory committee. While I understand and respect the fact that the EFCC, and indeed, all other government agencies have their constitutional rights to do their jobs without interference, the manner in which some of these jobs are carried out is often deeply troubling. Reportedly, the EFCC operatives who stormed the hospital shot some teargas canisters within the hospital premises which sent medical staff and patients running for safety. This thoughtless act greatly compromised the general safety in the hospital environment and further jeopardised the health of the medical personnel and the sick people in the hospital. I have always said that the most fundamental intangible asset upon which any nation functions effectively is the rule of law and order. The disorderliness allegedly demonstrated by the EFCC operatives at the hospital must not be encouraged. Nothing justifies the use of teargas canisters in a fragile hospital environment. Do we not realise that our hospitals are part of our most critical contributors to development? We must also learn to respect the lives and dignity of our citizens. If a Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery is arrested in such a demeaning manner in a hospital environment, what signals are we sending to other medical professionals working hard to keep our health sector afloat? It is reported that Nigeria has only 80 cardiothoracic surgeons serving its 230 million people, and the Prof Eyo Ekpe is the only one in Akwa Ibom State. Let us learn to do better. Let us condemn and eschew the rascality and disorderliness that have continued to characterise some of our public offices and bring in civility in the discharge of our duties. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

The situation between VDM’s lawyer and Justice Crack at the Federal High Court today honestly made me laugh. A lot of people are beginning to understand certain things little by little. Barrister Marshal Abubakar was the lawyer who filed the bail application for Justice Crack. Then suddenly, another lawyer claiming to be Justice Crack's lawyer appeared and said he wanted to become the lead counsel. When the judge asked Justice Crack who would lead the matter, Justice Crack chose the other lawyer over Barrister Marshal Abubakar, the same person who filed the case for him. That behavior is very synonymous with how Peter Obi behaves politically. Peter Obi and many of his followers seem to share one common trait: betrayal. They are very good at betraying people’s trust and efforts. That is exactly what Justice Crack displayed against Barrister Marshal Abubakar today. The same way Peter Obi betrayed APGA, PDP, LP, ADC and Atiku Abubakar more than once, is the same pattern of behavior people are now seeing in Justice CRACK, Randy Peter, Red scarf girl, and many hardcore supporters of Peter Obi. People should learn how to spot these kinds of people and avoid them because, in the long run, they usually end up hurting people through betrayal. Your case will not be different from Tiny girl and Marshal Abubakar, if you don't stay away from Peter Obi and his goons.

Peter Obi was governor of Anambra when this happened on the Onitsha–Enugu Expressway. Today, he appears on camera daily promising to tackle insecurity head-on in Northern Nigeria. We know our challenges, but that man has no idea how to address them.

I remember writing about how religion has made people demonize others out of ignorance. I wrote about the little boy who was labeled a witch by his community, abandoned, rejected, and left to suffer until a foreign missionary rescued him, cared for him, and gave him a chance at life. Today, that boy is doing well. And now again, another disturbing video is trending from Ebonyi State. A pastor reportedly labeled a sick little child a witch, a child obviously in need of medical care and compassion, not condemnation. Instead of help, the child was surrounded by people singing while being humiliated and abandoned far away like an outcast. When will this cruelty stop? When will people finally stand up against evil done in the name of religion? When will the government treat child abuse and child abandonment with the seriousness they deserve? When will human rights groups, social justice advocates, and communities rise to protect innocent children from superstition, manipulation, and public humiliation? Enough is enough. No child should be called a witch because they are sick, poor, different, or vulnerable. No religion should normalize cruelty while preaching love. The teachings of Jesus Christ were rooted in compassion, mercy, healing, and love for the weak, not abuse, fear, and abandonment. People must begin to speak up. Communities must reject this evil. Authorities must enforce the law. Religious leaders who abuse children should be held accountable. This has to stop.
