@JulieLovesFluff They ask kids about abuse at home. You might be great parents but others aren’t. Kids aren’t going to admit they aren’t being fed, being beaten or being s$&ually abused in front of their abusers.

I took my 11 year old to her checkup this morning and the nurse asked me to step out of the room for a moment. I politely declined and she said, "It's just for a moment." And I told her, "No thank you, given all the stories about children being abused my husband and I decided to never leave our children alone with anyone, even medical providers. Anything you need to do or say you can do with me in the room." She looked all miffed and just left, no idea what her plan was but she didn't feel the need to continue it with me present and that makes me even more suspicious?? When she left my daughter thanked me for not leaving, she's already shy about the doctor, her eyes got so wide when the lady asked me to leave.

Rex even has to cooperate fully with FBI Profilers! Brian Kohberger only had to say Yes 5 times. BK doesn't have to cooperate with FBI profilers. BK got to skate. They are both inhumane animals but at least the prosecution in Rex's case made him allocute and he must help the FBI understand his kind. I will never understand BK's plea - He should have been made to stand trial. The death penalty should have stayed on the table. BKs plea deal was a sucker punch for justice. To the neighbor who decided to collect my dog’s poop from your yard and leave it on my doorstep like you were proving a point—congrats, that might be one of the worst ideas you could’ve come up with. I woke up to it sitting right on my welcome mat like some kind of statement. Just so you know, my porch camera caught everything. Let’s be clear. Dogs go outside—that’s what they do. They walk, they stop, they move on. I’m not trailing behind mine like it’s some kind of cleanup operation every second he steps on grass. If that bothers you that much, that’s something you need to deal with. What’s wild is that instead of ignoring it and going about your day, you actually picked it up, carried it over, and placed it on my doorstep like it was some grand message. That’s not normal behavior—that’s going out of your way to create a situation. So thanks for making it easy with the footage. If you thought this would change anything, you misjudged completely. And if you decide to step onto my property again to drop off another “delivery,” you can go ahead and explain that decision to the police.

I’m embarrassed asf to post this, but HELP. How do I make this stop? I clean it for her, it still ends up like this.. she cleans it, she cries about it and it still ends up like this.. I’m OVER it. I tried grounding her. Taking electronics. Cleaning it for her. Helping her clean it. & NOTHING.PHASES.HER. She genuinely doesn’t care. I told her yesterday “if your room doesn’t get cleaned today, you’re grounded” she looked at me and said “ok? I don’t care.” I even asked to remove it because once a person came to us for an order that they ordered from my store, Tedooo app, it was such a shame that the buyer accidentally saw it. We don’t live nasty. Our house is always spotless. HOW DO I GET MY GrandKID TO JUST KEEP A CLEAN DANG ROOM? She’s 8 if that makes any difference for any type of tips, ya girl is tired.........

@ronsterd89 I refused to clean my room once my parents took everything. Toys, music, left me underwear/clothes for 3 days and my school uniform. I eventually got the clothes back as I “earned” then. I didn’t get anything else back.

Their 18 year old daughter just graduated a few weeks ago. Her parents thought they were being fair for not kicking her out at 18 but they are kicking her out after she graduates. They told her if she wanted to stay, effective June 1st, she would have to start paying them $200 a month plus the costs of her own food. If she wanted the rent with meal plan, it’s $300 a month and she can eat from their fridge. They feel they are teaching her responsibility in a controlled environment. I think the amount they are charging is reasonable and fair, it’s still cheaper than being on her own. Do you think this is too expensive too cheap, or do the just hate their kid?

@gotrice2024 I’m a huge dog lover. So much so I keep my dogs under control so they don’t get hurt. Just because your dog is small doesn’t mean you can allow bad behavior without consequences. Example If your unleashed dog comes after my leashed dog it won’t end well for yours.

This woman’s dog was being aggressive with the postal worker. She tries to emphasize how small it is as if its bites still don’t hurt. On that day she did not have the dog chained up, he was just in her hard, the postal worker approached to deliver the mail and the dog lunged at him. Most postal workers carry mace just for this occasion and maced the dog. The woman is very upset and appalled that anyone would mace her dog like that. She’s talking about suing the post office. If this was your dog would you take legal action or is it possible the owner of this dog is liable for not controlling her dog?

@therealwinny1 @wendyp4545 My vet cares very much about my dogs and me. But she still needs supplies, need to pay for a building and maintenance and pay staff a livable wage. I know her well and I know, although she’s not hurting for money herself the majority of cost goes right back in the practice.

These places do not care about your animals! You would think that’s why they going to veterinary practices but at the end of the day it’s all about money. Several years ago, my cat was extremely sick. I took her to the vet. I could not afford to pay the entire bill at one time. They literally refused to help my cat. They didn’t care if she passed away or not.

@wendyp4545 I’m also a huge fan of pet insurance. Like any insurance I hope it’s a waste of money but when I had 2 dogs both tear their ACLs at the same time, insurance saved me.
