@TPEassist @TPExpressTrains 14.15 Manchester Victoria to Redcar Central. No sign of the ticket inspector to even mention the heat to. Same as yesterday where my ticket wasn't checked and therefore no-one to ask about sorting the heat - 18.20 Middlesbrough to Manchester Airport service.

@TPExpressTrains @TPEassist 2.5 hour journey yesterday in near 30° heat and now coming back today in mid-20s with high humidity and the aircon wasn't / isn't turned on. This is horribly uncomfortable, like sitting in soup.

If the entire KC Chiefs franchise just fell into a wormhole never to be seen again, I reckon 99% of the NFL fanbase wouldn't be upset in the slightest. I think they genuinely must be more hated than the Patriots dynasty and that takes some doing.

I have found a way to make my new year's gym resolution stick. I treat myself to 30 minutes alone in a local cafe with a cuppa after each workout. The reward of that tiny bit of unaccounted quiet time makes the torment of exercise worth it more than I can say.
