Today was War Veterans' Day in Romania. There are fewer than 300 war veterans & war widows of WW2 now. Thus, it's time for cringe-inducing messages of fighting for freedom, respecting sacrifice that seem mostly aimed at whitewashing an army that fought 3+ years alongside Nazis.
