Someone once said the reason why Declan Rice got injured in that match against Chelsea was because of Zubimendi 🤦🏾‍♂️! Till now I cannot take it off my head because it’s the most stupidest thing I have ever read in my LIFE! The criticism was Zubimendi was too extreme and personal. It’s like they want him to fail because of their emotional attachment to Thomas Partey! Anytime he doesn’t play well.. The Olukuses always bring Partey name in the conversation! Partey that will be tear the ACL of his hips if he can do what Zubimendi has done in his first season in England. I’m not saying don’t criticize players but don’t make it look like the players are not giving their all. Even when Zubimendi lost form.. he was still trying! He was knackered but giving his all! That’s why Arteta will always keep playing him because the struggles were expected! First season in England and playing a very Pivotal position that you cannot regularly rotate so 100% he will get tired.. and he did and he’s looking refreshed at the most important part of the season.
