@_JordanDecker Dach and Laine are gone, IMO, and Gallagher might get bought out or shipped to a team starting a rebuild. Anderson and Danault are the two who are actually contributing.

Signing Texier to an extension and trading for Danault has created a log jam of forwards. We got Hage coming real soon, and guys in Laval looking to graduate to the big club next season(Beck, F.Xhekaj)… Body’s are gonna need to be moved out this summer, and not just Patty Laine.

@Ing30m I know, but we shouldn’t wait that long to move some of those guys out if we got the option. I’d be looking at trying to get someone to take Danault this summer for sure.

@Isaac0436849198 I’m not sold on Texier. He shows flashes, but lacks consistency, and isn’t great at any one thing. Never gonna be a PP or a PK guy either.
Beck looked pretty good in his last call up, especially on the faceoff dot. Good replacement for Evans. Better shot and more physical.

@brenmidov @Justhabs18 Matheson also tried to make a risky play and got burned. It wasn’t just bad luck. He seen the puck bobbling and rolling. Make the safe play and skate it behind your net. Hell, kick it to the corner if you got to. Don’t pivot in the high slot and try to make the risky play.

Yes, it’s ok to blame Mike Matheson. He’s a veteran who should be more risk adverse. He knew the puck was rolling, make the safe play and skate it behind your net. Don’t pivot in the high slot and try to make a play while it’s rolling.
